My family enjoyed our experience at The INNS
My family enjoyed our experience at The INNS. The space was clean and nicely furnished. The location is great - just a few blocks from King Street with lots of little shops and restaurants around. It is a busy neighborhood with construction nearby and a speed bump right outside your door, so the noise level is high at times. I think that is to be expected staying in a historic property near all the action. We were out and about most of the time, so it didn’t really affect our stay. I would stay here again!

Let’s start with the good
Let’s start with the good. Convenient location in the heart of Charleston. Comfortable beds. Nicely furnished. Great location within Charleston.
Now the not so good. Arrived to the apartment (it’s a downstairs apartment with someone living above) and there was a pick up truck parked taking up both parking spaces behind the house. There are only two spaces and there’s lots of construction fencing around the house. VERY difficult parking situation there. We barely got our small Subaru in there. We walked up the unit to find both doors totally unlocked. Lots of deferred maintenance in the bathroom (mainly paint, caulking, and mold). The shower was icky. Then we tried to go to sleep. Not only is the house on a major road and you can hear everything from outside but whoever was staying or lives upstairs made no effort to be quiet after 9pm. Could hear everything up there including them urinating. I guess they decided to roll their trash bins to the curb at midnight. Won’t be back.

The road noise really was disruptive (hence the four-star rating), but I fully understand that’s out of their control. I just didn’t feel I could give it a full five because of that. :)
