Historic Downtown Cottage - Close to King!
Located in historic Charleston, SC Cannonborough area within walking distance to popular restaurants and pubs. This charming cottage is only 6 blocks to shopping on King Street and has a Free Trolley pickup stop 1 block from the Cottage House.
Private patio and secure off street parking. The first floor has an open layout with a living and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The bathroom is located off the kitchen and features a stacked washer dryer, tub/shower and pedestal sink. There are heart pine hardwood floors throughout the first floor with many original features.

The cottage has a nice yard and off street parking. It is located only a block away from three popular restaurants, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Bistronomy By Nico and Fuel. Walk about 5 blocks and you will be on King Street with many of Charleston's favorite new restaurants and boutiques.
The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

You really can’t beat this location! I walked pretty much everywhere during my stay here. The space was cozy, clean and safe. Linda was responsive and communicative. Would definitely rebook this rental!

Absolutely a place I recommend!! Feels like home!! Very cool restaurants in the neighborhood. I was very happy I brought my bicycle. Loved the big space parking lot in the back???? I was 15 minutes away from ‘360 yoga studio’????namaste????????

Staying at this house was amazing! It’s in a great location— only a 20 minute drive from Folly Beach and about a 5 minute drive to downtown Charleston. You can definitely walk all around too and it’s a beautiful neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful spot tucked behind a wall of jasmine, making for a private space away from the street. Pristine linens, classy minimalist decor, beautiful wood floors. What a gem in downtown Charleston! We really enjoyed our stay here. Linda provided lots of great information ahead of time. When we arrived, we needed another set of sheets. After a quick phone call, sheets were delivered to our doorstep within an hour.

The place was located in a residential and quiet street and the cottage was privately located set far back from the street. I loved the central location being able to walk to all the shopping and restaurants in the area. I really loved the bedroom that was in an upstairs lofted space- it was very quiet and cozy for a good nights sleep.
I also really appreciated that Linda (the host) was very prompt and responsive to whatever I needed. I would definitely recommend her place. It was perfect for a weekend getaway!

I loved my stay! I came for a brief vacation with my dog and had such a great time. It was a bit difficult to find in the dark though. The houses are all very close together on that street and the street numbers can be difficult to see at night. Once I figured out what to look for with the driveway, it was totally fine though. I would stay here again!
