With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Exceptional customer support all around. Super walkable to everything you’d want, but the area immediately near the house is under heavy construction. Never bothered us though.
The one thing that we didn’t love was the master bed. It was super squeaky and made sleeping through the night difficult. Also not our favorite mattress. Relatively minor inconvenience in what was otherwise a fantastic experience at the house.
Do not discount the difficulty of parking at this house. If both units are rented, moving any car inside the driveway will be very challenging.

This was a beautiful house to stay at! The bed was comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were beautifully updated. The area itself is a little iffy for the time being only because of the construction but once they get all of the houses fixed up it will be great. Parking was very tight but all of the reviews listed that & it's in the description BUT regardless, still worth it because you'd have to pay anywhere else since this area of Charleston was built before cars were invented.
The host also provided recommendations around the area that we greatly appreciated. Overall, this was a great place to stay during our time in Charleston and I recommend it over a hotel!

Michael’s place is a very nice 2 bd/2 ba private house. Everything is clean, a full bathroom upstairs & downstairs, & is not in the center of the busy Charleston vehicle & foot traffic but just around the corner. I do recommend driving a smaller vehicle, if possible. The driveway is way too tight for a full sized truck & off street parking is blocks away. I do positively recommend.

Everything at this location was everything you could want except the parking BUT the location is great so it was walkable. Michael was very responsive and helpful and will be using his airbnbs if we ever go back

Host was great and instructions really helped a lot. Location was walkable to shopping and restaurants. There is a breakfast place about a 2 minute walk. Clean and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms dont have any counterspace, but new and pretty and very clean.

Michael’s place was perfect for a two day getaway! Upon arriving, we were a bit underwhelmed due to the surroundings of the vacation rental. The street had construction, and is located right next to a worn down home that is undergoing renovation. It was our first time to Charleston so we weren’t too familiar with the area, however, we quickly realized that the house is located on two of the most popular streets (king & meeting) for shopping and dining! The parking is tight to maneuver compact to midsize suvs but doable and serves as a great added bonus due to limited parking surrounding us. The house was well-kept and had everything we needed. The rooms are small and the bed in the second bedroom is a little smaller than your average queen and can be a little cramped for two tall people. However, they were perfectly comfortable and we all slept very well through the night! Michael was quite proactive as well with his instructions and recommendations. We will definitely come back!

The rental was Spacious and clean.
Fantastic to find traveling with 2 dogs. 2 separate level bathrooms offered great privacy when traveling with another person.
Parking is tight ..
as warned.
The location itself is surrounded by construction so I pictured “historic “
to be a little different .

Wonderful place, we had a last minute trip and Michael was very accommodating with our arrival time! He was super fast in his response time and the house was exactly as pictured! Many mentioned the parking, but if you follow the instructions that are listed we didn’t have any issues. It was nice to have a place close to everything!

Great location, house was as described. Michael communicated great as we needed extra sheets for the pull out sofa bed and he had them delivered promptly. It would have been nice to have additional towels and the hot water took a long time to heat up. There is only 1 parking spot provided which we were aware of before arrival. There were no guests in the front house while we visited so it would have been nice to be made aware so we could have parked both cars on the property. Otherwise, the house was excellent. Loved that it was pet friendly, very clean, easily walkable to King Street bars and restaurants and TVs in each room. Would stay again!

This house was clean and roomy for 2 couples, and as described online. The location was convenient and quiet. Excellent restaurants were close, and the free trolley made it very easy to get around. Ample information about restaurants, museums and other things to do was provided by the host. The host was also very quick to respond to questions, and was very helpful. Check in and out was quick and easy.
