John was an excellent host. We had one minor issue regarding a locked door that separated one of the bedrooms/bathrooms from the rest of the unit. John handled this promptly and courteously. The unit is well appointed and is plenty of space for a family of four. The parking spot is tight but will definitely accommodate a smaller car or SUV. Overall, very happy with our experience and would recommend without any reservations. John, thanks for allowing us to stay!

We traveled with 2 other couples and John’s place was perfect. The beds are all kings and very comfortable. The linens are great. The decor is exactly as pictured. I had a few questions during my stay and John got back to me within minutes. There location is great. We were about to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The only slight negative was the parking space. It is very tight. I would highly recommend John’s place’

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We had the entire top floor - so we enjoyed 3 clean, comfortable, spacious bedrooms with private baths for the 3 of us. The kitchen/living area/porch are all so well done and easy to enjoy. The property is really charming as well as updated - and we found it spotless. Our host was responsive and helpful. We had zero issues. We had perfect spring weather (in February) and enjoyed walking the neighborhood - so many shops and restaurants in walking distance. King Street is less than 1/4 mile walk. If you have more than one car, you will have to make use of the parking deck. Parking for one vehicle is tight but it works. We would absolutely return to this property! Being closed to King St, that is what our most travelers loved about the rental as it allows you to walk everywhere downtown. On-site parking is not common at historic homes and when it is, the spaces can be very narrow. We're always happy to offer an alternative space when we can as well.
