This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Good place to stay - quiet as it can get in Charleston, short walk to King Street. Plenty of space inside for our 7 people group. Parking is not immediate to the house, but a short 1 min walk away. And you can stop at the front door to unload what you have to. This is a historic district, so space is tight everywhere outside. Host was very responsive during the stay. Overall great value for the price, recommended!

Great place large with lots of space. A little musty smell in the air but understand it’s a very old historic home. Some type of affid/bug in master bathroom that got worse towards the end of our stay!

One of the reasons for the smell is because of the historic nature of the home as well as recent change in temperatures. We are always happy to have our tech drop and spray ozium if needed. Beautiful place, pretty clean!
One thing you should be aware of is that the staircase to the third level is INCREDIBLY narrow and steep and has a sharp curve with a roof slope, so it’s hard for larger people (both height and width) to get through there. (This was expected in such an old house, we just didn’t realize it when we booked, and I thought it would be helpful to state for planning purposes.)
In general, it was a gorgeous old house with great views, window seats and comfortable furniture.
The balcony was easy to access and had ample seating.
The reservation comes with 2 parking spots about a block away, which wasn’t too much of a problem for us as we were all young and in fairly good shape. From what we could tell, Charleston isn’t really a driving city, and parking’s hard to come by, so be prepared to pay a lot for parking or an Uber wherever you go.

It is a historic home and we always make sure to upgrade while trying to preserve the historic nature of the home. We LOVED our stay here!! We were in town for a girls weekend. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It was so cute and super close to everything. The hosts were amazing and so easy to work with. 10/10 recommend staying at any of their properties in Charleston.
