This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

The location was great. Really close to King St but also in a great neighborhood with a variety of corner restaurants. The street was a little busier than expected but the house was great to get the total Charleston experience

This was the perfect place for my stay in Charleston. This is an older house that has been updated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. There were no surprises, and I would recommend this house for a stay in Charleston.

Excellent location! Walkable to local coffee shops, King Street, etc. Michael is a wonderful host with timely responses. Pictures accurately represent space. Plenty of room for guests, great living room! Definitely recommend to stay if you are looking for a nice AirBnB that is walkable to King Street!

Perfect home for a Charleston stay! & you are literally STEPS away from King St. So you don’t even have to worry about driving or taking the Uber if you want to go to the bars/clubs on King st. Everything was clean & very accommodating. It is an old home & we stayed on a VERY HOT week so the house Can take a bit to cool down BUT they even have fans to help with that. After we used them it made it way better! One tiny thing is wish the kitchen had better lighting but that doesn’t take away from the 5 stars at all! The hosts were very nice & any questions I had were answered immediately! For 4 bedrooms 5 beds & 2 bathrooms the price was also very reasonable compared to others! Would definitely book again!

Michael's place was perfect for a Girl's Trip Getaway! The house was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE! GREAT location in a safe neighborhood! We rented bikes and were able to travel the whole city easily for 3 days! Holy City Bagels is a great place for bagels and coffee just 1 block away!

The kitchen and living space is slightly small if you have a big group but other than that great place to stay.

Michael as a host was very communicative and helpful whenever I had questions. The house was fantastic! A true Charleston experience at staying at one of these homes! Amazing location! Close to downtown and wails walkable to all the places we wanted to eat and shop. There’s a great coffee and bagel shop just a stones throw away! Very happy with this Airbnb! Michael was quick and responsive to all our questions! Thank you!

Our stay on Cannon street was exactly what we wanted! We could walk everywhere downtown and easily catch an Uber to different neighborhoods and beaches. The house was just as described. The best part for me were the beds, so comfortable with amazing linens. Michael was an excellent host. He responded quickly, gave us local recs and arranged an early check in. I would definitely stay at one of his spots again!
