Welcome to one of America's last true beach towns! This fun, laid back area is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. A mecca for great views, great food, and some great surf. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Folly River, you will enjoy 6 miles wide of beaches, surfing, kayaking, boating, and endless sunset views. Beautiful Morris Island is a great spot to take in the sea life and panoramic views. Take a stroll down Center Street in Downtown Folly, which boasts tons of eclectic bars and restaurants that are fun for the whole family.
Folly is very easy to navigate on foot, by bike, or by car! This property is just a short walk to the public beach access. On the way to the beach make sure to stop by Bert's market to load up on beach snacks, or get an Orange Crush from Rita's Seaside Grille. If you ever have your fill of the beach life, Historic Downtown Charleston is just a 20 minute drive away!
This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-10am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the City of Folly's Ordinance rules.

Beach re-nourishment is expected to begin in March 2024. During this time, areas of the beach may be temporarily closed and/or impacted. Public beach accesses can be found at nearly every block and/or half block up and down the island. We are not responsible for any beach disruptions caused by the re-nourishment. Would highly recommend staying here with your group! Walking distance to downtown Folly Beach with fun bars and places to eat. Quiet and safe neighborhood. House was beautiful and we loved sitting on the screened in porch. Beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a family beach vacation. It was able to comfortably fit 8 adults and 2 toddlers. Host was very responsive and we loved the layout and private, safe feeling location. The back porch was a great hang out spot and for larger family dinners. Was an easy walk to the beach through a close cut-through path. Also really appreciated outdoor shower for post-beach sandy feet, and ample parking (easily fit 5 vehicles).

It was a beautiful house that is perfect for our stay! Well maintained and clean, with high quality linens and towels. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils to cook with. The living areas are well proportioned with nice furniture. The location was convenient and walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Our family had a wonderful week. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this house. It is so beautiful, clean, and spacious. Check-in and check-out were both so easy with exceptional communication from John both before and during our stay. John’s place was simply beautiful! It was tastefully decorated and had ample space for all of us to feel right at home! He was easy to contact and checked on us numerous times to make sure everything was going well 🙂 The area was perfect-we were close to everything and could walk into the town in around five minutes. There were many great restaurants nearby, as well as a beautiful pier and beach access just a few blocks away. A perfect vacation spot on Folly Beach!

We had a great stay in Folly Beach and John was a great host! Very large space that is super convenient to the beach as well as the restaurants and stores. We were easily able to walk anywhere we wanted to go within Folly Beach.
