This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

I would absolutely return to this AirBnB! John was so helpful, providing things to do in Charleston even before our visit. The house was spotless, and so great for all we needed. It was the perfect location for our gathering of 7, giving everyone enough space to spread out, or gather in the kitchen or living room. Probably one of the best things is how close this location is to King Street and all things walkable! Don't pass up this Airbnb, you'd regret it!

Home was nice. Pay attention to instructions on how to park as you drive down a small driveway to get to the back. We passed it up and had to go around the block. May be easy for some who are used to this but we have large areas in our hometown so we missed it.

Location is great. Walking distance to everything. Place is updated and comfortable. Parking tight so don’t bring too large/long/wide a vehicle, though our Acadia fit fine. Very communicative host with very little delay on response. Would stay again!

John is an excellent host and very responsive. The house was everything we thought it would be. The description was accurate and the location could not have been better. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and if we were tired the free shuttle was very convenient. If you have any problem with stairs this is not the place for you but we were six retirees and navigated the stairs just fine. Because we were so close to bars and restaurants we were expecting more noise but other than one briefly noisy late night drinker it was very quiet. I would definitely recommend this place for any group and would be happy to return.

The description was well written and pictures accurately represent this Airbnb. John was very informative on things to do in the area and responded quickly. We did notice that the water pressure was a bit low throughout the house but all of us girls definitely managed. We enjoyed our time in Charleston.

great location, clean house, and we were very happy with the accommodations. I just wish I'd known how close it was to a rooftop bar - fine if that's the kind of scene you want but my group wanted a relaxing girls' weekend so the loud music disrupted that at times. otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

Great place in a good location. It was comfortable and clean. Couple small things we ran into included the water pressure extremely low & parking isn’t accessible for large trucks. Other than that our stay was great.
