Excellent place and very close to great restaurants and everything else. There were 6 of us including 2 very young kids and 3 months old baby, and the place was perfect for us. There are 3 levels to the house, and bedrooms are upstairs, so be prepared to go up and down the stairs. The place features a very nice and full working kitchen, so that's perfect for us since we can cook whatever food we like - a BIG plus for us since food can get very expensive in Charleston, especially with 5 people. We got a chance to go and walked around the area too and was surprised that it was so close to our favorite French restaurant - Chez Nous. Overall, my wife and I recommend John's place, great location and family friendly too. My only gripe is that the internet is a tiny bit slow, I had to take a few zoom calls for work and noticed it was a bit on the slow side.

The space was exactly as listed and in a fabulous location, a block from everything on King St, and in walking distance to a few great coffee shops! John was extremely responsive and helpful- even dropped off some dishwasher soap early in the morning before our check out so we could start the dishwasher. Would totally recommend this place for anyone more than a couple coming to Charleston!! We hope to come back some day!
