Perfect location. Just a bit loud outside due to the students living near but host provided sound machine to cancel out most of the noise. Over all great location and within walking distance to every thing needed. Basic kitchen supplies but adequate for my quick stay.

John’s place was great! It was very clean and it is in a great location with tons of stuff to do within walking distance or a short uber ride. It was perfect for 2 people, but it would have been a little tight for more than 2 people.

The Rainbow suite was perfect for our anniversary getaway, and John did a great job communicating and setting expectations. The space was cozy and inviting, and everything was clean and well maintained. We would definitely come back!
The only slight downside to the location is the lack of dedicated parking for the smaller units - we were able to park on the street for an hour or two at a time during the day but had to park overnight at the Visitor Center garage, which is 6-7 minutes away and cost $14/night. Just an aspect of being in a densely populated historic downtown area that we didn't fully appreciate beforehand.

We had such a great stay at this sweet spot. We were able to walk to most spots and the further spots were a short drive. We loved Shem Creek and Sullivan’s Island and all the fresh seafood. John was incredibly responsive when we had questions and super accommodating to our requests!

This place is close to multiple restaurants and only about a 20-30 min walk from the market. John is super responsive and answered any questions I had. The rental was VERY clean, and well renovated.
We throughly enjoyed our stay.
The only downside was the lack of parking on the premises, but the parking garage was only a 7 min walk to the rental. John gave clear directions on where to go, and gave good recommendations for things to do, and places to eat.
We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful quiet & small place to stay in Charleston. We found it a very easy walk to lots of restaurants, shops, and bars on King Street. One down side is that it doesn’t offer parking on site. Otherwise it was a perfect stay.

This place was REALLY cute and was perfect for our weekend getaway! Everything was either a 10 minute walk or a short Uber away. The entire place was incredibly clean and overall very safe feeling. Although you do have the entire place to yourself, there are other apartments within the building and the walls are a bit thin when it comes to noise. Nonetheless, a beautiful home with great amenities and overall Charleston vibe!
John was an amazing and helpful host, very accommodating and had so many great recommendations!

Great spot for anyone looking to walk to restaurants and bars! Very central to lots of action. We parked our car in a lot and walked or took rickshaws during our stay. Very comfortable and cozy space. John was super responsive and reached out to let me know that Airbnb was down and to text him any questions we had. Loved this location!

This was our first Airbnb experience ever. My wife and I own property in Massachusetts and we have been in traditional real estate for decades along with our full time careers. Our daughter attends CofC. I was super impressed with John, the place, the location, the communication, etc. This was comfortable and cozy and was a really great place to be near King St., while being far enough away to feel like you were away from the hustle if you wanted. Were there some college kids you could hear on the weekend - sure, but c'mon it is Charleston and Charleston is a fun place to be for students from all over. We slept perfectly and we took advantage of this location for walks, dining, CofC events, etc. I was 100% skeptical of Airbnb and this experience at first. I hope "they" are all like John because this was an amazing weekend here and this experience was a major reason for it. 1000% will be returning to this property for the next many years. John’s place was really well-decorated and clean. It was cozy and perfect for my husband and me. It was near King Street, where there are a lot of bars, restaurants and shops. It was a great location. John was very friendly, and quick to respond to any questions or issues. The only drawback was the parking situation. And that’s not something that can be remedied. There are only a couple of parking spots in back, which doesn’t accommodate everyone in the multiple rental units. There is no long-term street parking. We parked offsite, and had to walk several blocks to the rental unit. For some folks, that wouldn’t be a big deal, but if anyone has mobility issues, it could be a problem. That’s something that should be stressed in the description. My husband has knee issues, and he managed, but onsite parking would have been much better for him. But, overall, the place was great and we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with no issues walking or w/offsite parking.

We absolutely loved this place! We were in town for a wedding and found that every fun thing we wanted to do was within easy walking distance. Amazing restaurants/bars, tons of shopping, and near to College of Charleston which is beautiful. This unit was adorable and had really cute amenities. We felt super safe in the building and were surrounded by many other people on the block but it still very quiet and peaceful. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again!
