This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

John’s place is perfect for a weekend away in Charleston. Walking distance to King St, which was wonderful. Place is clean and easy to get to. Be mindful that the place is small and there is only a wall unit AC so it can get kind of warm mid summer. Otherwise a wonderful stay.

John was helpful and responsive. The place did what we needed as it was super quaint and simple.
The AC worked great and the noise machine was a nice touch. Bed was comfy.
Also really glad I didn’t rent a car because I didn’t know there wasn’t parking until after I booked it.
Overall we liked the convenient location and enjoyed our stay.

John’s place was in a great location if you’re interested in checking out lots of bars and restaurants. This place does not come with a parking spot, so just be aware you’ll have to park at a nearby parking garage. I would recommend staying here

Loved the place and the location . It was so cute. Bed was so comfortable. Easy to walk anywhere and if we didn’t feel like it Uber was always available. Fleet landing was amazing for dinner and I recommend booking a Charleston culinary tour! The tour mixed with food and history was probably the highlight of our trip. Great host great communication. Loved it!

Easy Check-In/Check-out. Nice and clean. Ask John about the "secret draw" in the kitchenette. Easy walk to restaurants, night clubs, and College of Charleston. Nice piazza with two chairs and a table to enjoy the outside of the unit. Enjoyed my stay.

The location of this Airbnb was fantastic. We were about a 20 minute walk/10 minute bike ride to anywhere we wanted to visit in historic Charleston. The Cannonborough/Elliotborough neighborhood has some fantastic restaurants (we ate at Malagón and Sorghum & Salt, both blew us away). The unit was very clean and comfortable, and John gave great instructions on how to find and enter the unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Charleston!
