This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great space for our family (toddler included) to relax and play in throughout the week. It was a great location to easily get to a lot of places, though we drove to most because the walking distance would have been a bit much (I.e. to the shopping areas and market on/near King St). We loved the accessibility to every area we wanted to visit, and even did some cooking while there, so helped that the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay here. The location was perfect, and we were able to easily walk to almost everything we wanted to do. It was very convenient having off street parking as well. The house itself was clean and spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the property on November 13 and 14th was wonderful. Everything was clean and met our expectations.
We know that parking is extremely difficult to find in Charleston so having a private driveway was great. The folks that had the large master bedroom were in heaven. The smaller rooms were clean and comfortable. Instructions from Jade regarding check in and check out were explained very well. We appreciated the storage shed for our luggage prior to check in. We were out constantly so we really didn't dine in the place, but the small kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for breakfast. Every question we had was answered by Jade in a prompt manner. Thanks, Jade, for being a responsive host. Karen, Steve, Maureen and Buzz.

Jade was a fabulous host. The location of this house cannot be beat! I was on a girls trip for my birthday and the house was the perfect size for the 7 of us. We walked to most places or would Uber and walk back to the house. Every morning we walked to a coffee shop close by that was amazing. Jade was super responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay at Jade's place. We were visiting our son at The Citadel and it was an easy 1.3 mile walk from Jade's to the school, which was great to avoid the crowded parking situation at the school. The Daily, a great coffee shop was super close, which we took advantage of every morning. The house was super clean and accommodated our family of 5 so comfortably. The 1/2 bath on the first floor was an added bonus. Jade was super responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute 2 story building in an area that is quickly being revitalized. Great breakfast place ( Island Provisions) a short walk away. Small store for beverages 2 doors down, numerous places to eat within walking distance. One of the best is The Darling oyster bar. Really recommend them. Depending on traffic 5 - 10 minute drive to Hymans Seafood. Beaches within 20 to 30 minutes. To much close stuff to list. Jade was always checking in with us and always answered emails asap! Our only regret was we couldn't stay forever.

Our stay was great! We were with our 1 year old and there was a pack n play set up for us with high chairs and other equipment as well! Great location, only down side would be the street noise but with a good sound machine it can be drowned out!

Very happy with our stay and the information provided leading up to the stay. The one criticism is that housekeeping kept us out 1.5 hours after check in after a long drive to town and we had good communication but not a lot in the way of solutions from host. Everything else was very good and as expected, and I have no reason to believe this was not a one off first time problem with house keeping.

Clean and comfortable! Within walking distance to many cute restaurants and coffee shops. An easy walk to the King St. shops, but a little more of a hike to the waterfront and Rainbow Row. There were a couple of small things that would have made the Airbnb even better-- cooking staples like salt, jacket hooks by the door, and more backup supplies like garbage bags and hand soap. Overall a great value!

Jade's place is an easy walk to King. Island Provisions is a 3 minute walk and great for coffee and breakfast. Jade provides everything needed for an easy stay and is an extremely thoughtful host. Some slight noise from visitors across the street but noise machines fixed that. Beds are really comfortable and water pressure in main shower is good. lots of Ubers around for transportation. up and coming neighborhood, with some more distressed properties intermingled between nicer ones. felt safe walking at night. nice to have entire place to self. Great value!

Loved staying a night in Charleston. Rode bikes around town during day. Ubered to Hotel Bennett for a nice dinner and drinks and then walked to the Warehouse for live music and drinks. Neighborhood felt safe for the middle of the city. Place was cute, quiet, and very clean. Would stay again!

Jade's cozy house worked well for two retired couples visiting to experience the culture and cuisine of Charleston. We are mobile and having upstairs bedrooms was not a problem for us, and King Street restaurants were a walkable distance. Jade frequently checked in to be sure that our visit was going smoothly, which it did.

Location was great - it was near a lot of great restaurants. It’s near the end of king st, but was still walkable to a good amount! A quick Uber can get you down to the market!
Jade was helpful, always responsive and the apartment was a perfect layout for us during a bachelorette. Would stay again!
