The Charlee was absolutely lovely
The Charlee was absolutely lovely! The host was extremely responsive and even called the day of to let me know we could check in early. I would absolutely stay here again!

Unfortunately
Unfortunately, the home is located directly next to a large noisy generator or HVAC unit for the hospital and it was horribly loud at every hour of the day. This was obviously difficult for sleeping. And generally just annoying. We did report it and the staff kindly acknowledged knowing about the noise. But quite frankly it’s not a solvable problem other than not staying there. I would not stay in that home a second time. The home also needs interior painting. It looks worn. The location is good.

I would absolutely stay here again! It was within walking distance of cute little coffee shops and King Street, but also an easy quick uber ride if you didn’t want to do the walk. The place was spotless and comfortable. It’s the perfect place to stay for your Charleston getaway!

Spark notes of our stay: kept up until 2 am listening to club music so loud that fans/sound machines/nothing could drown it out, cockroaches in the bedrooms, and the heat not working. The host is very communicative however they will refuse to offer any type of compensation for your stay not being as described.
Otherwise, the house is nice and the location-while further away from the downtown making it a serious commitment if you want to walk-is not bad. The construction across the street is going to be going on for a long long time so I would not book this stay if you have kids or value sleep.

I booked this for my son and DIL. Jack said, „ It was great, wonderful view of the marsh and really comfy cozy interior. No problem getting in. The location is about as convenient as it could be. Nice kitchen. Lots of natural light. We loved it.“

Great location, exactly as described. Very safe and easy to walk to several restaurants and an amazing coffee shop steps away. The host was very responsive and communicative. I would defiantly stay there again based on location and cleanliness. Thank you
This was a fantastic place to stay
This was a fantastic place to stay. It was very nicely furnished and much larger than I thought it would be. The bedrooms offered quite a bit of privacy and had comfortable beds with clean linens and extra blankets for the occasionally cool night.The bathrooms were well stocked with Simple SkinCare Solutions (Malin+Goetz). This is a top-notch brand that I didn't expect. The showers were nice and abundantly supplied with towels and washcloths etc. The kitchen had an open and spacious feel to it and the appliances were all of a newer variety and easy to use. The backyard was well laid out and we made use of the firepit after a long and fun-filled day to relax. This house is nicely located to allow relatively easy acces to the many attractions in Charleston. It is within easy walking distance to the beach and the supplied bicycles make for a fun trip exploring the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed if you rent this place. The neighbors were friendly and the whole area was peaceful.
