This was our first time in Charleston
This was our first time in Charleston. We did not know the neighborhoods and where to stay- this location turned out perfectly. As a tourist, we were able to walk downtown. As a foodie, we were in Michelin heaven. A top 50 restaurant in America was a half block north, and a Michelin rated restaurant was a block south.

This carriage house is an amazing place to stay in Charleston! Spacious and very clean, and walkable to most everything downtown. The place was beautiful and clearly recently renovated, and had all that historic charm. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great experience at this Airbnb. Location is convenient for walking most everywhere, although maybe a bit far from the Battery area (but walkable if you don't mind a couple of miles).
Transitional with some properties very nice and others in need of (or in progress of) renovations. I felt safe walking around, even at night. I was surprised at the number of restaurants nearby. It's just down from Chubby Fish and Verns. I enjoyed Holey City Bagels as well.
Furnishings are nice, bed comfy, kitchen well stocked with plates and utensils (we did not cook so not sure about pans and such). Some reviews mentioned too much light in the bedroom, but blackout curtains have been installed which helps a lot! Only quasi negative (and not a huge deal) was that there was some noise on the street in the evenings as we were trying to go to sleep; we turned on a white noise app and that worked for us.
Yourpad was very helpful and quick to answer the questions we had.
Would definitely rent again.
