great location
great location. the rustic historic charm of bad attic windows and scuffs and scrapes were fine. the attached building bar was an interesting nuance. the attic bedrooms and missing staircase spindles were not ideal for toddlers but the highchair and pack-and-play were helpful. The second floor southern-most bathroom shower did not drain after more than an hour of standing water. We messaged the host these couple of safety concerns and they said they would come but never did. The bar owner stated they were getting water from below this shower. We are assuming the shower pan has been permeated because a tile was not attached and we were sure to avoid water on the floor.

This was a lovely place to stay full of Charleston charm. The house was clean, a good size, and had great amenities. It was a comfortable stay for us in a great location! While it was noted that it's above a bar, we didn't quite realize how loud it would be as we had a child with us.

Hidden gem with several great restaurants within walking distance. Mini bar down stairs was fun way to end the day. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great weekend away at this cozy spot. As advertised, it's adjacent to / above a bar so it was noisy on the weekend until 11 pm closing, or closer to midnight once all of the folks on the street finally dispersed. Those hours didn't bother us, though. And the location was very convenient to explore the city. The beds were comfortable and the climate control worked great. Folks with mobility issues might not be comfortable going up the narrow steep stairs to the third floor but we managed it fine. And the host was very communicative and responsive when we needed it. All in all a pleasant stay.

We loved our stay
We loved our stay! The experience was seamless (checking in, using the amenities, checking out.) The neighborhood and the house itself were super charming. It was perfect for our New Years trip, because it was a perfect launch point for fun bars and restaurants, but ALSO a pleasant spot to hang out and relax.
