One caution is the Bar located in the building
One caution is the Bar located in the building. There is no sound insulation. Hope you like Kereoke.
Host was responsive and friendly
Host was responsive and friendly. Home was clean, toiletries and linens were abundant, and well stocked kitchen. Perfect for a group of girls on a girls trip. House is extremely spacious, beds are very comfortable.
There is a bar attached, so if you are an early sleeper, bring a noise machine. Bar does close at 11pm, so the noise is not all night and they have good bands.
Property is on the north end of King Street.
We really liked the house
We really liked the house. I always read reviews so know what to expect. Like others said you can hear the bar below but didn’t bother us at all. House is walkable to some amazing restaurants. I love an old house. The third floor steps were a little steeper than I was comfortable with to put my toddlers up there but they just bunked with me so no big deal. We would stay here again. Host was very responsive.

This was overall a great property in a wonderful location. We used it for an 8-person bachelorette party, and it was perfect. The house was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and it was a great fit. There are only 3 bathrooms, so that was a bit tough logistically with 8 girls but nothing we couldn't work around. The two bedrooms in the attic did get a bit warm, but thankfully by the time we were going to bed, it cooled down. The walk to King Street is short, like to get to Bourbon N Bubbles, but to get to the Charleston City Market, it is about a 25-30 minute walk.
Would absolutely stay here again!

If you want to stay in one of the best neighborhoods in downtown Charleston - this is it! Walkable to so many cute restaurants, cafes, coffee shops. And - attached to a delightful “mini-bar” that’s a local favorite (closes at 11). Gave us the downtown historic old-world Charleston experience that we were looking for!!

Everything went great - we were down in Charleston for my son's wedding with extended family. This place suited our needs - for my 22 year old niece to my 87 year old mother-in-law. The hosts could not have been more proactive or responsive - and the extra little things like toiletries were greatly appreciated.

We stayed in Charleston for a wedding and this house was a quick Uber ride to the venue. The house was spacious enough for our large party of 8 adults and a child under 5. All of the bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were the most comfortable beds! The house has modern decor but retained its Charleston Single House charm. (I loved the narrow double doors!) The kitchen had all the items needed for food prep, but we were able to walk to nearby spots for pizza, coffee, and drinks. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back!

Wonderful place with plenty of character in one of our favorite hoods right outside the historic district. The bar right next door is a slight issue, as there is noise and outside foot traffic, but it's not a huge deal and it closes at 11pm promptly.
