This standalone home is located at the end of a gated courtyard that is shared by two other additional homes. The space was perfect for a couple and a pup- definitely would be a tight fit for additional guests. The bed was very comfy with great linens. We appreciated the access to the rooftop. It was so peaceful! There is a large soaking tub/shower for the master and we definitely used the handle grip to help get in and out as it is very deep and slippery. The location is great and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The parking was as expected in the city as it has 2 hour street parking- they provide parking spots around the corner for each of the units. We really enjoyed walking the neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent, walkable location close to many great restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, etc. The courtyard space allowed for privacy and a buffer between the house and the street. The house was as described (comfortable king bed; we did use the fan in the closet to keep the bedroom cool at night, rooftop deck was nice and shaded). The included parking spot is behind a vacant home (just around the corner) but not once did we feel unsafe. We would absolutely stay here again. It looks like there are 2 other homes on the property so it could be a good place to rent out with family or friends.

The unit was clean cozy and comfortable. It helped it came with a designated parking space. Amenities were proper. I would recommend placing non slip pads in the tub to avoid dangerous accidents while using. Tub area poses a very high safety risk. I would stay again. Host was responsive and helpful.

It is a lovely, cozy space in an ideal part of the peninsula that allows for a walkable experience in Charleston, or a central location to explore the broader county.

We had an amazing time at this place. Perfect location and loved the privacy of it. Easily walkable to king street with great restaurants. It also felt very safe. It is just like the pictures and would absolutely stay again.

The “luxury” listing was horrific
The “luxury” listing was horrific. Only one sliver of a bedside table for TWO people and it rocked horribly. Three tamping cranes are building condos DIRECTLY ACROSS the street, so beware they go f 7:30 am to 5:30 am with a half hour stop at noon. Everything — couches, IKEA chair, utensils old and nubby, well worn. Coffee pot replacement carafe in this “luxury” stay did not work. We were told by YourPadCHX that we had a parking space which turned out to be behind a falling down, abandoned home. We drove in one night at 10 pm and there was a person smoking drugs in the back of the porch. Great safety, luxury goods, and constant background bedrock tamping? We left a day early, and I am now officially done with anything YourPad. Airbnb was once a wonderful company that made a really terrific option for us. Now, at least with YourPad, they are a corporation, not real people trying to supplement their incomes by opening their homes.
