Great place to stay for a few nights, walkable to the conference I attended at Hyatt Place. The construction around the area wasn’t ideal (and I didn’t want to walk around there after dark by myself), but it was honestly fine. Space was clean, and beds comfortable. Great wifi, functional kitchen. Communicative host. Overall great place—competitive pricing for the area, but expensive which wasn’t ideal but maybe that’s just Charleston.

This needs to say in the first 3 sentences that it’s in the middle of a full on construction site and they start work at 5am. This allowed no rest and was truly miserable. The place is quite nice and walkable to great places but until the construction is done I would never stay here again - even if it was for free. The host was quick to reply (seemed like a AI chatbot) and said the listing says construction during business hours, but lord it’s hidden in the listing and was misleading and they started work predawn and not business hours. The host offered a small refund but it was not worth the how uncomfortable the noise was.

The house itself was very clean, and the perfect size for my group of 4 young adults. However, being all females, the area around the house was a little sketchy, and made us feel uneasy during the night time. The host was very responsive and communicated well! Overall, it was a great stay, just the location is not in the best part of town.
