This was my first Airbnb experience and it went smoothly

Myrra Alkhalil
This was my first Airbnb experience and it went smoothly! The house was in a great location but parking was really tight, so only for small cars and small suvs. There was 9 of us in the house, which was really crowded so I suggest at least 7 guests for it to be comfortable. But other than that loved my trip!

I had a wonderful stay

I had a wonderful stay. The host was extremely responsive and provided quick, helpful answers to every question I had. I would happily book again in the future!

The host was very responsive and flexible with our group needing to drop bags off early. The area is beautiful, and there are lots of options for food, drinks, and activities within walking distance.

Awesome location … just a brief walk to King street

Awesome location … just a brief walk to King street. Felt like real Charleston residents in a home built in 1852. Loved to hang out on the classic piazzas and catch the breeze. There is a pizza place (D'Allesandro's Pizza) just a couple houses down - went there twice to grab a pizza snack - very good.

Historic and charming house in Charleston

Sumani Dash
Historic and charming house in Charleston. The neighborhood was extremely walkable with lots of restaurants close by. There is a fairly large construction site across the street which became active starting at 6am - no fault of the owners of course! We left a personal item in the house and the owners were very responsive and let us swing by after check out to pick it up. Overall we had a great stay and would be happy to return.

Great location and surrounding neighborhood

Callie Manion
Great location and surrounding neighborhood. Please be aware of a few pain points when staying here: 1. Heavy construction next door begins at 7am and even with ear plugs you unfortunately can't sleep through it. 2. Only small cars will fit in the driveway & all others will have to pay for parking elsewhere. 3. Read the wall AC instructions in the top floor rooms. I think we overlooked it on Day 1 & we ended up with a soaked mattress from the AC leaking all day while we were out. Even after changing the dial it never stopped leaking. 4. There is a strong smell from cleaning products so if you are sensitive maybe mention that to the host before booking. 5. The layout is unconventional so you can't really eat or gather in the kitchen. 6. The beds are extremely high. If you have back issues, it may be very difficult to get onto the beds. Otherwise we had a great stay. The living room upstairs is nice, the rooms all had comfortable mattresses, and we loved how close it was to everything.

This house was a good option for my bachelorette trip

Sarah Rierson
This house was a good option for my bachelorette trip! The location is very walkable to a lot of popular spots and overall we had a great time. There were some things that were a little surprising: the air did not flow well upstairs and the ceiling is very slanted so it’s hard to move around up there freely. That was not clear from the photos. There was also very loud constriction that began at 7 am on the weekdays and 8:30 am on Saturday that will disrupt your sleep. That is obviously not the Airbnbs fault, just a bummer in general and there was a lot of construction all around that area. The positives in addition to the location was the responsiveness of the host and they were able to accommodate early check in. Overall it was charming and we enjoyed our stay!
