This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Nice place and convenient location. As mentioned, lots of construction in area. We always wear earplugs sleeping so didn’t really bother us in early morning but some may find it hard to deal with. Otherwise we would go back again.

You’re paying for the great proximity to King St. and the place itself was clean and accommodating. However, the street noise is almost comically loud. There’s major construction going on across the road which was not a huge issue for us being up early, but would not bode well for those looking to sleep in past 7am. The accommodation is the entire second floor of a home that requires navigation of stairs. The home is older and has several uneven thresholds and slanted floor in the bathroom. Water pressure in the shower was sufficient, but the sinks were very slow. Overall, this place met our desires for the trip but I would give caution to those with any disability or plans of inebriation as the place is a fall injury waiting to happen.
