The house was perfect for our huge group size. The host was very quick to respond to all of our questions.

They tried to take my money, but Airbnb stepped in and got me a full refund. A historic winter storm is hitting the East Coast, yet YourPad Charleston didn't seem to care. Not only were they slow in communication, but they were also rude. Would not recommend staying with them at any of their properties. Their "full service" stuff too is just passing you off to another company if you want experiences.

Came with a group of 11 gals and had plenty of space to spread out, and tools to come together! We were able to use the extra folding table and chairs to have meals all tohetner in the dining room. An abundance of cups, plates, and cutlery provided. They have most basic kitchen essentials, if cooking for larger groups I’d bring some of those disposable aluminum bakeware pans.
This is an old house - don’t come expecting silent floors and doors. Bring an extra blanket for any drafty areas, most rooms come with a space heaters but the heat seemed to work great. Parents of small children should be mindful of multi level wood stairs - grippy socks are helpful :)
We loved the Bahn Mi restaurant next door and had no issue walking all the way downtown to the markets to explore all the shops and restaurants along the way (just wear comfy shoes or take the free bus!)
Clean and fun house, responsive host, and great location. 10/10 would come back!

Lots of problems with the house. My family said “lipstick on a pig.” House is truly awful
The heater does not work , they rented us the house anyways. They told us when we moved in it was just getting warmed up, then never worked. They said to use space heaters.
The windows don’t fully shut, because they are so old. so even though the heat is broken, and they provide space heaters you won’t get the house above 55* at night.
It’s an old house they just threw a lot of trendy paint in and looks great for pictures. But the floors are loose and literally clap when you walk on some boards. There is an exposed nail I cut myself on in the bedroom floor under the carpet around the middle of the bed.
The steps and floors are sagging, and the porches are very old and not safe.
Lastly it’s a death trap for kids. There’s a 4’ fall just waiting to happen on the steps down to the kitchen. There’s no railings on those steps or the porch outside in the back.

Awesome place
Awesome place! Here for a birthday with lots of friends and there was plenty of space! Downstairs was much warmer than the upstairs, so wouldn’t recommend cooking. Not many cleaning supplies, only one roll of paper towels and nothing to wipe things down with (spray, wipes, etc). Overall awesome place though, would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. It was a large group and it didn't feel crowded one moment. Lots of space and the host was extremely communicative. Beautiful design as well.

Thank you for hosting us . We enjoyed our stay . The house was big and spacious enough room for our whole family. The house was very beautiful and unique. It had everything we needed, and was close to all the places we were going . Definitely would stay here again if we go to Charleston.
