Loved our stay at this cute Folly Beach property. The building has been renovated in a beautiful modern style and the unit was perfect. Very clean! Well-appointed. Having 2 parking spaces was a real plus. Host was communicative and responsive.

The place looked newly updated and clean. The incident with the cleaner not supplying us with an extra roll of toilet paper when asked left a bad taste with us. -Inexcusable- On the second to last day we were here we did not have any extra rolls of TP in the bathroom. To be on the safe side I asked the cleaner who was cleaning another room if we can get an extra roll of TP and she said no. I was so angry on her response that she would make us go buy our own. -Air filter on the ductless mini-split needs to be cleaned. -When taking a shower the shower loses hot water in the middle and it then takes a couple of minutes to warm back up. -I believe the washer cold water is shut off. Only hot water comes out on all cycles even the tap water cycle which should be coldest. -One of the legs on one of the corn hole board is broken and a red throw bag is missing. -The XO refrigerator in the unit which has two separate drawers and neither one of them is a freezer. Studio apt is small.

Positive: I liked the location in proximity to the beach and the place itself was nice and well put together. Loved all the townie bars and Bert’s. Negative: The walls are very thin and there were very loud guests to the side of us and up stairs. The rug underneath the bed was stained. Not enough toilet paper was given for the amount of days we stayed. Inability to be flexible with check in and check out times without there being a surcharge was disappointing- especially since when we arrived the cleaners had not started cleaning yet when it was time to leave they were promptly there at 10. If we ever do come back we would definitely do a hotel stay since they would be able to accommodate things for us.

Perfect place to crash after a day’s activities in the Charleston area or a day on the beach. My wife and I regularly visit our daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren who live on James Island, and we enjoy staying on Folly Beach after a full day with family. This was our first time staying at this Airbnb, and we will definitely book it again on future visits. The photos are spot on — the unit looks exactly as it does in the listing. We found the accommodations to be exceptionally clean, with convenient parking and an ideal location. It’s close to the beach and within easy walking distance of the center of Folly Beach, Bert’s Market (a must for us to pick up food and wine), and the ocean. Our host was very communicative and responsive, answering any questions promptly and making the stay seamless from start to finish. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed this studio. It was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures!! Only thing I can say is the water to the shower can take some time to warm up, and mid shower it gets really cold and then 2 mins later it’s warm again. This was the only thing, but again it was only for 4 nights and everything else was perfect!!!
