We had a great stay! The house was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed the balcony.
The location is excellent and a great value for the price
The location is excellent and a great value for the price. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the experience seamless from start to finish. The instructions were straightforward and well-organized, and the space itself felt like a cozy home away from home.
Parking next door was very convenient, and the property was easy to find.
One thing to note: there can be some noise from the downstairs area when others are home, especially at night (loud music, talking, etc.). However, this was clearly mentioned in the listing, so I wasn’t concerned. It’s also important to keep in mind that noise is part of the Charleston experience, and it didn’t last long or disrupt my stay. The host can only do so much, and it wasn’t bothersome enough to reach out about.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely give it 5 stars!

Upon arriving to the flat, all doors to adjacent Apt were wide open to the street & we found this alarming
Coming Street (especially for whomever stays in front room) is extremely loud(which was disclosed) but beware there is a firehouse on the same block which was very loud.
The water never got hot in any of the 3 showers.
No ice maker nor ice trays so may want to stop for some pre-arrival.
Some parking issues upon arrival, assigned spot was taken due to adjacent church being in service. Although description said no parking on Sundays until 3 pm, we were not able to get into our assigned spot until after 6pm & until then parked at least 3 blocks away.
The ants under kitchen counter & other bugs were addressed very quickly. Friendly man arrived within 1/2 hour & sprayed.

The house is located on a heavily traveled street, so you’ll hear lots of traffic noise. It’s also an old house so you’ll hear conversation and movement if people are staying in the downstairs unit.
Security was a concern: despite the hosting company’s assurance that no one entered the unit without our permission, we have good reason to believe otherwise.

Local recommendations and restaurants were walkable to the place. Parking was convenient. The space layout and accessibility was a bit different than anticipated as it's split into multiple living spaces (upstairs, downstairs, and on the same level). We felt a bit secluded from our other guest as a result. The space is certainly older in finishes and conveniences such as an unusual floor plan, small and separated spaces, and older bathrooms which were quite small. We did have unexpected six-legged and winged guests, but when we brought it to the attention of the host, they mitigated the situation within hours. We felt relatively safe, but this is on a busy road and is a somewhat shared space, so there is noise from the street and other guests. It is on the second story, and there are steep steps to walk and carry suitcases. While I wouldn't likely repeat a stay at this location, the host was outstanding.

The house is in a great location, it was much smaller than the pictures showed. The shower in one of the bathrooms was very small and leaked out onto the floor. At least half of the house felt very slanted. The host was very responsive, one of the fans in one of our rooms wasn’t working and they brought us a new one within hours. Overall, We did enjoy our trip to Charleston as a whole. We were just expecting a bit more from the house considering the price.

Clean, well furnished bedrooms and two common areas which work well if you are working remotely. Walkable to restaurants, parks and King St. Reserved parking one block away with a spot at the property for loading and unloading. Host was very responsive to any messages.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to north King street. The room was much smaller than pictured; the bathroom and shower were very cramped. Disappointing for how much we paid and how the pictures portrayed the room. The host was very responsive when we reached out about stained sheets. Overall, expensive for what it is, but a great location.
