Our stay was OK, the property was well maintained and clean
Our stay was OK, the property was well maintained and clean. I read the previous reviews and they indicated that it was next to a busy street, but was quiet. We did not find that to be the case. On our first night there 9 police cars and 3 ambulances came roaring down the street and it seemed that police traffic happened nightly . In addition if a car was parked at the light and they had loud sound systems in their cars it was noticeable in the property. The property is not far from the beginning of King Street, the local shopping district, and was walkable during the daytime, we did not walk at night and I don't think I would have felt safe doing so.
The common area a couple of times was completely occupied by large groups of people having parties - they even took our parking place one night. So we did not feel it was truly a common area for all.
All in all we were happy with the property for the time we were there.

We stayed at "Crosstown @ King - Downtown Chic Cottage Near King." This was a 2bdr-2ba. I especially liked that the bedrooms were at opposite ends of the cottage. Note that one bedroom has its own bathroom, and the other bedroom does not. Everything was as described. We didn't have any issues. Host was very responsive to our inquiries and adjustments. For us, the location was walkable to some things we wanted to do and see. The cottage worked well for our needs this trip and we would definitely stay here again.
Very nice, quaint cottage
Very nice, quaint cottage. It is conveniently located to all things Charleston. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked. The host was very easy to work with and had fast response to any questions. Very pleased with our experience!

Amazing stay for 2 couples in Charleston
Amazing stay for 2 couples in Charleston. The house was perfect for our needs, we were out and about everyday taking in all of Charleston restaurants, bars, shopping for 5 days. Communication was always quick and instructions were easy! The hosts were wonderful.
Quick drive from the airport and to King St, Meeting Street, and Bay St.
We sat outside in the Gazebo area regularly to enjoy the weather and have some cocktails and chat. It is a little noisy but that didn’t bother us.
I would totally recommend if you’re looking for a reasonably priced full house to yourselves!

The house was adorable, chic, very clean. Despite backed up against highway, minimal noise level! Minor adjustments needed- towel hooks in primary bathroom were off, no light bulb in second bathroom shower, for examples .
Host was gracious and open for questions, if needed.
