This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

We stayed 2 nights. It was a short drive to downtown Charleston and all the attractions. There is a lot of construction in the area which was mentioned in the description. The noise started around 6:30 am. Overall a decent place for a quick trip.

This rental was exactly as described. The place is on the edge of the development in the downtown Charleston area so there is definitely some construction around, but especially once that completes it will be GEM of a location. You are downtown so you will encounter some homeless population, but we had no issues. We walked to most places in the downtown area, but we definitely got our steps in to do so!

We loved the property! The location is great (and the area will likely be even better in a few months). It is an easy walk to great restaurants, downtown, gyms, coffee shops, etc. The house is comfortable and clean. Loved having the parking spaces. Overall a great place!

This is a cute place and a great deal for the area. We drove into town rather than walk because it was hot outside when we were there but there are plenty of walkable things to do. Yes there is construction across the street as the owner will tell you and others have mentioned, but we were up early anyway so it didn’t bother us. It was a cool, comfortable place to stay with friends to explore the city. I’d definitely stay there again!
