Perfect stay! The host was always available and helpful. The apartment was above expectations and even better than the pictures. Very cozy and comfortable. Very nicely decorated and spacious for the size. The area is very nice and a 10-12 min walk to King street.

Realize it has been said before but the location is amazing! We walked everywhere for 2 days (my feet know it!) but was close to restaurants, cafes and shopping g on King St too! We loved being this close and the renovated “old” design was part of its charm!

Let’s start with the good

Let’s start with the good. Convenient location in the heart of Charleston. Comfortable beds. Nicely furnished. Great location within Charleston. Now the not so good. Arrived to the apartment (it’s a downstairs apartment with someone living above) and there was a pick up truck parked taking up both parking spaces behind the house. There are only two spaces and there’s lots of construction fencing around the house. VERY difficult parking situation there. We barely got our small Subaru in there. We walked up the unit to find both doors totally unlocked. Lots of deferred maintenance in the bathroom (mainly paint, caulking, and mold). The shower was icky. Then we tried to go to sleep. Not only is the house on a major road and you can hear everything from outside but whoever was staying or lives upstairs made no effort to be quiet after 9pm. Could hear everything up there including them urinating. I guess they decided to roll their trash bins to the curb at midnight. Won’t be back.
