The place was super clean, there was Extra towels to use and everything was cleaned up well! Super close to the main city attractions!! Great communicative skills with the host

This was the perfect place for us to stay

This was the perfect place for us to stay! It was cozy, quiet, a 5-10 minute drive to the french quarter, and we were able to put a pack-n-play (provided by the host) in one room, and we slept in the other. The host also provided a high chair and the kitchen was fully stocked, so feeding our one year old was a piece of cake. There are so many great restaurants in the vicinity as well.

Prime location, comfortable beds, and a clean, spacious home

Prime location, comfortable beds, and a clean, spacious home. We had an awesome stay and will definitely be back! Linda was also a great communicator throughout the entire process, which made everything stress free.

We enjoyed being in an older part of town in an historic house

We enjoyed being in an older part of town in an historic house. Everything was a bit slanted, but sturdy enough, even on the second floor. 😁 Loved the soft, cozy sheets and bedding! Great location in a residential area close to the Medical University of South Carolina. King street was a 15 minute walk away, as were several coffee shops and restaurants. We would stay here again!

Linda’s place was perfect for our 1 night stay in charleston

Linda’s place was perfect for our 1 night stay in charleston! The location was great, walking distance to king street and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Super simple check in and communication was great!

We had a great stay at Linda’s and she was so responsive

Juanita Meneses
We had a great stay at Linda’s and she was so responsive. The linens and towels were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We made coffee and a light breakfast before heading out each day. We also felt very safe in the neighborhood which has a couple of great coffee shops and restaurants very close by. The unit was just like it is pictured and the building has a lot of character and everything was very neat and clean. Linda was so helpful with all communication and we would definitely stay here again.

Loved being able to walk around to some awesome spots, but get away from the noise in a peaceful area

We appreciated the historic charm

Sami Davidson
We appreciated the historic charm, the cleanliness of the space, and the thoughtful inclusion of body wash and shampoo, but overall the house felt quite tired and not as inviting as the photos suggested. It worked as a place to sleep — though we didn’t want to spend any extra time there as the space was quite bare. The couch was a bit dirty, and the WiFi wasn’t working (we didn’t need it, so we didn’t reach out), and there was no kitchen table. The kitchen was minimally stocked—few forks and knives—so it wasn’t super well suited for cooking or eating in. The back bedroom had a slightly funky, mildewy smell, which wasn’t surprising for an old house but was still noticeable. After staying here, we saw that other reviews mentioned similar issues with the condition of the home. For the price, especially compared to other listings in the area, we expected far more in terms of comfort. Overall, the negative past reviews of the space were accurate, and we would stay elsewhere next time.

The perfect spot to stay in during our first visit to Charleston. Linda was great and super responsive and the neighborhood was cutie and walkable. We would love to come back!
