With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The space was the perfect place to just touch base in between eating and drinking at all of the wonderful restaurants that the neighborhood has to offer. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Also - a note to anyone else who has read earlier reviews - the restaurant next door closed down (unfortunately for them) so noise was not an issue at all. We were prepared, but pleasantly surprised when we arrived, especially when we saw how close it truly was to the house. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This was home base for a spring break trip with my 14yo daughter. The location is perfect - short walk to King St with so many cute coffee shops and boutiques. High ceilings make the unit open and airy. Private parking was invaluable. We are looking forward to a return trip in the future!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay! It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the downtown area but there were nice restaurants near us as well. We personally liked being on a quieter street. The bed was super comfortable and the place had everything we needed for a long weekend visit!

Overall a great stay in a lovely, walkable neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. If you are bothered by loud music/ pub quizzes, I wouldn't recommend staying here as the restaurant/ bar next door is on the doorstep of the apartment and it is loud until about 10.30/ 11 pm every night. (I found myself participating in the pub quiz from the comfort of my bed!). Before booking, I was aware that there would be some noise from the bar so it was fine for me. I also enjoyed the music choice at the bar! And the bar was handy for getting food and drinks if you don't want to go far from your accommodation.
