Location was clean and within walking distance of local bars on king street. However, if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, this is not the place. The house has no insulation and proximity to main highways and local venues makes this place an inconvenience for those looking for a respite.

This is close to major highways. I was woken up at least 1x per night. but didn't keep me awake. not a deal breaker for me, but be aware.
the trade off is it's 2 blocks from King St, can walk to any of the downtown destinations.

So glad we chose to stay with yourpad. We stayed in Charleston to celebrate my sisters bachelorette. We flew from Texas and we were worried about having to fly with our decorations, they allowed us to mail our decorations to their office. We didn’t end up doing that but they did everything they could to help us out. When we arrived in Charleston it was 5 hours before check in, they let us check in 4 hours early so we didn’t have to carry our luggage around town. When we checked out, they offered that we could keep our luggage at their office until our flight back home which was another 8 hours we would have had to carry our luggage with us around town. They were absolutely awesome and our stay in Charleston wouldn’t have been near as great without them. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time I come to town!!! 10/10. We hit the jackpot booking with them.

Very clean. Very nicely decorated. Very well maintained. Very responsive. Three king beds and bathroom en suites...perfect for our party of three.
Yes it is between two busy streets, but the crazy ambiance added charm to the house! The sound machines were a very nice touch! A bowl of earplugs would be a funny offering! We used our own from home and slept all night!
Even in the hot August humidity, we sat on the porch each night and watched the cars and planes buzz by...very entertaining with a glass of wine!
Centrally located between the Air Force Base...downtown Charleston...and the local islands and beaches!

Although we were only there for a short while, this was exactly the space we needed! My family really enjoyed everything about this condo and we would absolutely come back. We read the reviews about noise, but didn't hear a thing! I also love how walkable the surrounding neighborhood was. I've already told several friends that I would like to plan a girl's trip back.

The Sheppard Street Unit B is beautifully decorated with a lovely backyard, making it a charming space. However, the noise was far worse than expected, particularly in the middle bedroom, due to old single-paned windows. Some of the other rooms had makeshift window inserts that helped, but the middle bedroom lacked them. Additionally, the king-sized bed in the middle bedroom caused the bathroom door to not close properly, which was an odd oversight. The original floors, while preserved, had dips and divots, making them uncomfortable to walk on barefoot. The biggest issue, however, was the parking situation. With the unit sleeping six, having only one parking space was inadequate, forcing us to park several blocks away. This lack of parking and the noise were the major drawbacks. While the unit has potential, these issues need addressing to justify the price and location. With improvements, it could be a top-tier rental.

The managing company was incredibly helpful and proactive, making the check-in process seamless and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The home was comfortable and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to relax. We would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

With that said, the location is NOT good and I would not recommend. It is between two interstates, literally at the corner of them, and thus very loud. Immediate surroundings unpleasant and at times felt unsafe.
