Charming historic home. Great stay. Previous reviews noted nearby construction noise. There was quite a a bit of construction, but it did not bother us.

You’re paying for the great proximity to King St
You’re paying for the great proximity to King St. and the place itself was clean and accommodating. However, the street noise is almost comically loud. There’s major construction going on across the road which was not a huge issue for us being up early, but would not bode well for those looking to sleep in past 7am. The accommodation is the entire second floor of a home that requires navigation of stairs. The home is older and has several uneven thresholds and slanted floor in the bathroom. Water pressure in the shower was sufficient, but the sinks were very slow.
Overall, this place met our desires for the trip but I would give caution to those with any disability or plans of inebriation as the place is a fall injury waiting to happen.
