The apartment is on the second and third floors of a venerable building

Susan Westbrook
The apartment is on the second and third floors of a venerable building. It is tastefully decorated and has a well-equipped, modern kitchen, three modern baths, plenty of comfortable seating. The off-street parking is a big plus. Everything was clean and comfortable. Richard responded within minutes to my inquiry about restaurants. It is located near downtown, a few blocks away from the Medical University of South Carolina and within walking distance of restaurants and excellent bagels. A Publix supermarket is a short drive away. The price of this lodging was very reasonable considering the amenities, certainly more economical than the five hotels rooms we would have otherwise needed, and we could eat breakfast in our pajamas. I highly recommend it to families and other travel groups.

Cute place

Cute place! Stayed for a bachelorette trip! Fit 11 people well! Didn’t feel overcrowded or anything! Host was AWESOME responded fast was even able to work out an early check in with us since our flight landed early!! Would definitely stay at again!

There were 8 of us and we had a nice 4-night stay at this Airbnb

There were 8 of us and we had a nice 4-night stay at this Airbnb. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms is great (most with double sinks!). If you enjoy walking, It’s an easy walk to the City Market and carriage rides and we seemed to find a different route through the city and University whenever we went out. Ubers are also easy to get. There is a bodega and a couple cute restaurants within a block of the location. If you’re a light sleeper, the road may seem a bit noisy (depending on which side of the house your bedroom is located). We did have an issue when we arrived with the construction on the first floor and contractors in our parking spaces, but it was addressed and the contractors did not work over the weekend. The host, Richard, is responsive to the issues we had during our stay, although we feel the construction should have been noted ahead of our reserving this location, which is why we are rating as a 4.

We loved this beautiful, convenient condo
