Great location and patio
the spiral staircase requires some dexterity.
Absolutely fantastic respite with private grounds in a central location!

The location was fabulous- we walked all over and always felt safe. Great way to see different neighborhoods!
Negative:
Nothing- just know the spiral staircase is a little challenging if you have mobility issues.

Absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely come back again! The location is right in the heart of everything—fantastic restaurants, great shopping, and King Street just steps away. You can stroll, shop, grab a bite or a drink, and admire all the beautiful historic buildings. Everywhere we ate, the food was amazing, and the locals were so kind and eager to share recommendations. I only wish I could have stayed longer! The place itself was wonderful, and having the entire rooftop with such great views made it even more special.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect—easy walking distance to great restaurants and bars, and just a short trip to get across town. Everything was comfortable and convenient, and we’d definitely come back again!

The location of this Airbnb was perfect. Right on king street and extremely walkable. The parking spot included with the Airbnb was nice.

The location was central with plenty of restaurants and had a lively vibe. Unit was surprisingly quiet too. However, not the most family friendly for young children. We ran into a few issues during the stay, but the hosts were very responsive. The unit is a little tricky to find which made using ride share and delivery services difficult to use (food left on busy sidewalk on multiple occasions). Parking was a challenge with one loading spot in the back (still needed to go up a couple flights of stairs and use an elevator to get to unit) and the main parking garage was a couple blocks down the street. You need a parking voucher to get in an out of the garage, which you could pickup by the loading dock but they often ran out or were expired (ended up spending quite a bit OOP as a result). Wifi (and TVs as a result) didn't work for the vast majority of our 2wk stay. There were other inconveniences that made it difficult to justify the price, but it could be worth it for shorter stays.

The place was perfectly positioned on king st. Walkable to many bars/Restaurant’s. The place was secure with locking gates to enter property which made the space feel safer. The grounds were adorable with greenery all around and a large seating area. The space was just as pictured, beautiful and fully as expected. The host was proactive and accommodating, very communicative and quick respond time.

While the unit is well-located, our stay was frustrating. Parking was hard to find, the loading area was blocked, and check-in was stressful. Luggage access was difficult due to a narrow spiral staircase not mentioned in the listing. TV remotes didn’t work, and we had to fix them ourselves. We lost a night due to a canceled flight, but were offered no flexibility—despite being offered an extension, we were denied a late checkout minutes later. Worst of all, the unit had a severe bug problem. Our neighbors had a cockroach, and we had biting bugs inside the sealed room—found on bedding, curtains, and in luggage. My daughter was bitten. The host acknowledged it but offered no real help. We were also asked to clean and take out trash, which felt tone-deaf. Thankfully, Airbnb support was outstanding—they helped us relocate, covered the cost, and refunded part of the stay. Huge thanks to Angelo and the Airbnb team for their support.

Our stay at Firetower was amazing! Such a great location, and we absolutely loved the outdoor patio space. The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Beds were super comfy and the blackout curtains truly were blackout! Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Fire Tower was superb. We went for a girls’ long weekend and the Fire Tower accommodations were in a perfect location! Walk to everything! So much to do, great restaurants and night life. Even though we were close to all the nightlife, the accommodations were quiet. Host had good recommendations and welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine to start our fun. I would recommend Fire Tower to anyone looking for a place to stay in Charleston. Can’t wait to come back to Charleston and stay there!

When
