Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

This is the perfect place for 4-5 people, enough room for everyone to have their space and not to mention pet friendly :) The house was clean, the amenities available were great, and it was all within walking distance to downtown. The parking situation is a little tricky, as it says in the listing but other than that everything was great.

When we first arrived, we were a bit worried. The area looked a little questionable. But only because there was a lot of construction all around. The city appears to be booming with new apartment construction. Then we noticed there were a lot of young professional types walking here and there and immediately felt comfortable. There is a Family Dollar nearby for all your essentials. The Airbnb is exactly as shown in the photos. It is 2 stories with the bedrooms and 1 restroom upstairs. Everything was very clean and very nicely decorated. The beds & pillows were very comfy. The location is walkable, located between Meeting St. and King St. King St. has every restaurant and retail you might imagine. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. Charlestonians we encountered were very courteous and welcoming. Overall, the Airbnb was a good choice for us and we were very pleased with the hosts.
