Fantastic space with an unbeatable location just steps from Kings Street! It’s an old building so hot water isn’t really a thing, but still a charming, spacious getaway. :)
The house is located right off King Street so very walkable to stores, restaurants and bars
The house is located right off King Street so very walkable to stores, restaurants and bars. We were in the top floor, the apartment was clean and comfortable and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The stairs to get up to the apartment were a bit narrow and could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. All in all a great spot to stay!

This place was fantastic and perfect for our group of 7. Beds and linens were pristine. Bathrooms were spotless. Everything was great. We wish we had a longer stay.
Great location, walkable to major sites
Great location, walkable to major sites. Spacious home, easy to find and access. Note: the driveway and stairs up to the entrance are both a little tight - not unusual for an older home in this location. Hosts extremely responsive — we had a WiFi issue the first day, and they quickly worked to fix it. Overall a great stay for our family’s first time in Charleston!
The owners were very responsive to our needs
The owners were very responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, there were a couple maintenance items over our stay. Although they addressed him quickly, that was not expected. The other thing to keep in mind if you have young children, it is a three-story walk up. We were aware of that until we arrive.
The house was glorious
The house was glorious! Clean, wonderful neighborhood, and right down from huge attractions (King St., The Market, South of Broad). The house tended to be warm in general. We found that turning the thermostat down (while also closing blinds, windows, etc.) did not lower the average temperature of 76-78. We understood that it is the middle of 100-degree July, but four hot people needed something a little cooler. It was also *slightly* pricey for a Mon-Wed arrangement. Otherwise, the place was absolutely perfect and in a good location.
Great place
Great place! I would definitely stay again. I knocked off 1 star because the freezer wasn’t closing and a whole ice cream cake (for a birthday celebration) melted. I had to get another cake.
The host was super responsive and sent someone out to fix it same day within an hour; however, the cake was already ruined.
Great set up for a girls’ weekend
Great set up for a girls’ weekend! King room has en-suite bathroom. There is a full bath off the kitchen and another full bathroom one level down. King and 1 Queen room are on the main level. Twin beds and other Queen room are on the upper most level.
Location is perfection- surprisingly once you turn off King st it feels quiet and peaceful.
Lots of great amenities included such as soaps and shampoos and makeup mirror.
Wish we could have stayed longer!!
What a beautifully restored historic building
What a beautifully restored historic building! Complete with modern amenities and Charleston charm. A short walk to downtown shopping area, ocean, and historic sites. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with supplies. Highly recommend. Air conditioner works well, but is a bit loud- but worth the stay.

5 star stay! Great location, so close to everything you could possibly want to do while in Charleston. The house matched the description and pictures exactly. The host was responsive & easy to get ahold of. Thank you for a great stay!
