There was a lot that we really liked about this place: it was spacious

Coulter George
There was a lot that we really liked about this place: it was spacious, clean, quiet (we didn't have any trouble at all with the construction noise noted by others), with good parking and a convenient location for exploring Charleston. Unfortunately, though, there was one big problem: the shower only had hot water for a couple of minutes at a time, before turning ice cold. So we'd have to start our shower, do as much as we could in the minute or two of hot water, then turn off the water, wait for a bit, then turn the water back on again a few minutes later when it had had some time to reheat. By way of comparison: I lived in England for ten years, off and on, between the '90s and now, and the shower felt very much like the worst of British plumbing from the '90s, not up to the standards one now can expect. To be fair, the property managers were quick to send someone to look at the problem - but it remained just as bad as before. So we would not stay here again.

Perfect location

Sonya Knorr
Perfect location. Close to everything and parking was good. We loved our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the duvet covers and lines were nice. It was great that plenty of towels were provided. The host was very attentive even for a holiday. Would definitely stay here again in this lovely, cute cottage.

Great location

Great location. Super cool cozy feel. We hated to leave after just one night. I will definitely stay again.

Very nice place. As described. Super clean. Great location--very chill, but just a quick walk to restaurants. Will be back.

This house was excellent

This house was excellent. The cleanliness, the location and the ease of checking in and out was awesome. This location beats everything in Charleston in my opinion. The house is so unique and private. We enjoyed everything. The host were wonderful with communication. Thanks so much. I would definitely recommend your house to anyone.

Nice place for a girls trip

Hannah Barton
Nice place for a girls trip, except the shower pressure was lacking and we couldn’t get the shower to be a good temperature - it was either extremely hot or luke-warm/cold. Host was responsive about the issue, but said it’s an old house and thus an old water heater. Other than that, the beds were comfortable and it was a 20 minute walk from King St.

First let me say I asked that the porch light be left on (I arrived after dark) then reminded them

First let me say I asked that the porch light be left on (I arrived after dark) then reminded them, and when I got there it was not on and it was difficult to find the right keypad in the dark. After that, the unit was cute , especially the main area, and the beds were very comfortable. But the apartment is in the middle of a parking lot basically with lots of other rentals directly around it, so noise. Nest day I noticed that you could see in both windows in the bath; you couldn't find a place to stand where you couldn't be seen. Front stairs were so close to the parking space in front it really made us nervous to take a shower. The blinds needed to be 4" wider to cover the gap where you could see in. The clothes dryer sounded like it had a boot in it and the thermostat had a problem, you could n't change the temp. Then let's talk about the construction; the morning I left construction right by us, driveway blocked by cones. I was glad to get the hell out of there by then.
