Great location! Very inconvenient not being able to park next to unit. Maybe that is clear in the description about this property, but I wasn’t aware until arrival. When I asked if I could park in spot next to unit if it was open, I was told not to as other guests needed that spot. There weren’t other guests that night or morning. It would have been nice to have that parking spot. If it is not clear in the listing that guests need to find a parking garage for this unit, I encourage them to make this very clear. In the future I will pay close attention to this when making reservations.

We arrived at night and found the parking situation to be much more difficult than expected. The instructions we received a week before arrival focused on towing and following the signs, but did not explain where to park or offer any helpful guidance for guests arriving after dark.
The property is managed by a company, so it did not have the warm, personal feel or local suggestions that can make an Airbnb stay special. The neighbors were also loud, and the deck sits directly beside the house, which made the noise more noticeable.
Pros: The beds were extremely comfortable, and the house itself was cozy. Daniella’s down the street has great coffee!

Beds were very comfortable; great shower and clean bathroom. Also, linens and towels fresh and clean. Note some reviews note tight parking space included but need to find overnight parking. Location was very walkable up to King St or nearby cafes.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our small bungalow. It was cozy for our 3 nights! The king-sized beds and linens were comfy! The A/C was great esp with the hot and humid August summer days! There were several places we could walk to nearby —coffee shop, corner deli, and restaurants. Tried out the recently opened Two Blokes restaurant. Had a wonderful evening. Just wish the bungalow had at least one parking spot. Initially thought it had two spots due to an August 2026 review, but the listing itself did not have any parking listed. The concierge service helped by referring us to the MUSC parking garage about 4 blocks and 10-15 min walk depending on how fast one walks. Cost was extremely reasonable. The check-in and check-out was ultra easy. Overall, a wonderful stay!! Thank you!!!

It was perfect for this visit
It was perfect for this visit. We were moving our daughter in for college. One of the best things about the place is that it has two parking spots, so I could park my car and my daughter could park her car. Inside was great; 2 nice, clean bedrooms, and a well stocked kitchen. And, the air conditioning worked great! Visiting Charleston in August means we needed that air-conditioning! The location was very walkable to everywhere we wanted to go.

I like to write very honest reviews because as a consumer I want to read honest reviews, but I find Air Bnb has no put pressure on owners to only have 5 star reviews and I am asked constantly by owners NOT to leave less than 5 stars because they are penalized by Air BnB and that is NOT transparency for the public. Good things: great location, very cute house, it was very clean, well decorated, absolutely as described. Here's the tough things on this for me. I know the area well as we just live a few hours away and were in town for a concert. The driveway was being re bricked and there was no access except to find out way to back in construction lot, plus they started construction at 7:30a none of that was disclosed. Price was very expensive to me for a hyper late check in and early check out....very high. Toilet is not secured (like those middle of the night runs), and water smells bad (but that's Charleston for you)...but overall decent, and would stay again, 4 stars...
