This was a beautiful and spacious home, perfect for my group and our needs! Walkable and so cute! The host was also very helpful and responsive throughout our stay! Would definitely recommend
we had a great stay at Yourpads home
we had a great stay at Yourpads home. only a few slight issues with the stay but otherwise a fantastic home for an airbnb. Yourpad was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage at their office prior to our check in time so we could explore the city before going to the house. our only issues with this experience was that one of the bathrooms did not have hot water or great water pressure but due to it being an older home that can be expected. one last issue was that prior to our departure the cleaning company showed up prior to us leaving and opened the door and started to do things before we could even get our bags out or check the vicinity of home to make sure we got everything out and cleaned out all of our space. otherwise the house slept all of us comfortably and had all expected amenities listed! overall this was a great airbnb and would highly recommend!

The location of this place was perfect
The location of this place was perfect ! It was within a 10-15 min walk to king st and a 5 min Uber else where . If you don’t care for frills and updates then it’s perfect for you.
However
Our complaint was that the pictures eluded to the property being much nicer than it actually was - now Charleston’s an old town so it may just come with the area. Everything had the “landlord special” so many layers of paint over everything attempting to hide what needs to be fixed. Very Slanted porch. The water pressure on the second level was almost non existent. And the bedroom with the bunk beds was through another bedroom (which you can not tell from the pictures and it is not mentioned) - with the only other exit being blocked by the fridge in the kitchen (very weird lay out style)
For what the pictures showed and what we payed we honestly were expecting a more loved/renovated property.
Overall still a good experience - communication was great with the owners and the property was clean

I liked that we had both levels to use, which gave us two separate kitchens and family rooms since some of us wanted to stay up later or watch a different movie than the others. Three bathrooms between the two levels was great.
Any issues we brought up were quickly taken care of. For example, on our first night there was evidence of mice getting into some food, which we brought up the next day, and the host sent someone over, after which we saw no more evidence of mice. Another example that we brought up just before leaving was that the toilet in one of the downstairs bathrooms would sometimes shoot water in the air when flushed.
Some things we didn’t bring up to the host and that weren’t a big deal for us (old house stuff):
- Some doors didn’t have working latches (not even a hook and eye latch on one of the upstairs bedroom doors).
- The house doesn’t have great noise insulation, so sounds outside or in different rooms can sometimes be quite noticeable.

A true Charleston row home with lots of character and charm with all of the modern amenities. Plenty of space for large groups, cute gathering areas and very walkable. We walked everywhere. The host was super responsive with any questions I had and they were super friendly. I recommend this stay for anyone who likes to walk and is physically able to. It takes about 10 min to get to king street. It is a lovely walk, though. I will stay here again.
