The Old Village sits right on the Charleston harbor and is known for its beautiful historic homes, moss-draped live oak trees and small-town feel. Take a morning walk to see all the southern charm at it's finest!

Enjoy a coffee at Gala's Cage & Bakery, a glass of wine a Leeah's Wine Shop or a cozy dinner at Post House Inn, all a close 0.4 miles from the property. Head over to Shem Creek for some amazing seafood, views, and dolphin sightings galore.

You can't miss Pitt Street Bridge for a sunset stroll. It was once a trolley bridge that connected Sullivan's Island and Mount Pleasant and is a site for recreation and relaxation. One of the best views of the sunset over the Charleston Harbor!

Transit

The Old Village is known for it's walking and biking accessibility, and there are so many great attractions close by. If you get your fill of walking, Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area to pick you up for a ride anywhere you need.

Historic Downtown Charleston is about a 5-10 car ride over the beautiful Arthur Ravenel Bridge, and is home to amazing shops and restaurants.

If you prefer a beach day, Sullivan's Island is a 7 minute car ride or 25 minute bike ride away. Grab some frose from the Co-Op or some BBQ from Home Team and experience the laid-back beach vibe of the beautiful 2.5 mile long barrier island.

We loved our stay with Yourpad! This booking was one of the cleaner Airbnb's we've stayed in, and it is a beautiful home! It was easily walkable to shopping, food, coffee, the Tuesday farmer's market, Shem Creek dining and activities, etc. The home was well-stocked with the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay. Yourpad was responsive and helpful when we had a small electrical issue. They were clear in their communication with us and check in/out was a breeze. We would definitely book this place again!

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful house! It’s walkable to many local restaurants and sits in a beautiful neighborhood. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed (toiletries, paper products, cleaning products, laundry detergent, etc .) The TV had hundreds of channels with lots of show/movie options. The beds/pillows were so comfortable and the house itself was extremely clean! We’d definitely stay here again :)

We had a great time in Old Village and this house was perfect for us. Exactly like it was described online, this was minutes to waterfront parks, eateries and accessible to Charleston. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a perfect spot in Mt Pleasant.

First off, we arrived early, I called the host and we were able to check in right away. The location was perfect and the place was immaculate. Shem Creek and Old Town were nearby. Parking was a little tight for my F150 but doable. We also had a problem with the refrigerator/freezer and the host sent someone over right away to make the repair and sent a text once the repair was completed. We would definitely stay here again.

Adorable place located in Old Village. Quaint, local neighborhood was fun to bike around and admire the historic homes. Fantastic coffee places within waking distance — our favorite was Gala. Post House is excellent for dinner. highly recommend walking the Pitt Street Bridge (we rode the bikes there). Great park by Alhambra Hall if you have kids. Great views of Ravenel Bridge as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our daily bike rides and walks around the neighborhood; locals were very friendly! Hit HYLO fitness if you want to catch some fun, intense calorie burn classes. Mt Pleasant faves: Philosophia (the one by Whole Foods), Gala coffee, Post House, Community Table (I’on) Downtown Charleston: Poogans Porch, OKU, Bistronomy, Basic Kitchen, Roof Top bar at Little Palm, Felix, Jeni’s Ice Cream We can’t wait to come back— it’s a gem!
