The Old Village sits right on the Charleston harbor and is known for its beautiful historic homes, moss-draped live oak trees and small-town feel. Take a morning walk to see all the southern charm at it's finest!

Enjoy a coffee at Gala's Cage & Bakery, a glass of wine a Leeah's Wine Shop or a cozy dinner at Post House Inn, all a close 0.4 miles from the property. Head over to Shem Creek for some amazing seafood, views, and dolphin sightings galore.

You can't miss Pitt Street Bridge for a sunset stroll. It was once a trolley bridge that connected Sullivan's Island and Mount Pleasant and is a site for recreation and relaxation. One of the best views of the sunset over the Charleston Harbor!

Transit

The Old Village is known for it's walking and biking accessibility, and there are so many great attractions close by. If you get your fill of walking, Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area to pick you up for a ride anywhere you need.

Historic Downtown Charleston is about a 5-10 car ride over the beautiful Arthur Ravenel Bridge, and is home to amazing shops and restaurants.

If you prefer a beach day, Sullivan's Island is a 7 minute car ride or 25 minute bike ride away. Grab some frose from the Co-Op or some BBQ from Home Team and experience the laid-back beach vibe of the beautiful 2.5 mile long barrier island.

Really nice location - enjoyed walking to 3 different coffee shops and some cute restaurants. Adjoining neighborhood area was pretty. Felt very safe the entire visit. Kitchen is well-stocked for any inhome cooking. Rooms were clean, neat and sitting areas were comfortable. Quiet residential area - not far from the main streets of Mt Pleasant. Very much enjoyed the stay!

This house was perfect for our weekend get away

This house was perfect for our weekend get away. It was quiet and so convenient to downtown Charleston for half the price for a place in Charleston. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was beautiful. Jut some advice, if you can, bring a car or a small SUV. We brought my husband’s truck and we had somewhat of a hard time fitting it in the driveway underneath the house. Another piece of advice, if you or someone in your party has a hard time climbing stairs then this will not be the place for you because there are a lot of stairs and there is no elevator. Luckily, we did not have an issue and this was fine for us.

A fantastic location for visiting Charleston! Property was located within walking distance of historic areas of Mt. Pleasant and Shem Creek. Lots of wonderful restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Easy to jump over the bridge to Charleston. House was well-equipped and spotlessly clean.

We loved our stay here! It was modern, perfectly clean, and beautifully decorated. The beds and linens were so comfortable. The kitchen provided anything one could want. It was an easy walk to all the great restaurants on Shem Creek, and an easy drive to downtown Charleston and Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island beaches. The hosts thought of everything to make this a perfect place to stay!
