We had an amazing stay in Charleston
We had an amazing stay in Charleston! The home was beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect—just steps from King Street, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Everything was exactly as described and made our trip effortless. Would absolutely stay here again.

Spark notes of our stay: kept up until 2 am listening to club music so loud that fans/sound machines/nothing could drown it out, cockroaches in the bedrooms, and the heat not working. The host is very communicative however they will refuse to offer any type of compensation for your stay not being as described.
Otherwise, the house is nice and the location-while further away from the downtown making it a serious commitment if you want to walk-is not bad. The construction across the street is going to be going on for a long long time so I would not book this stay if you have kids or value sleep.

It was mentioned that there was a construction project going on across the street but be aware that it's a huge apartment complex and the construction noise starts as early as 7am. The larger issue is that they were driving 40 foot steel foundation posts in the ground using a massive pile driver machine and it's so loud you can't hear yourself think, it actually shakes the entire house. We were gone most of the day so it was only early morning that it was an issue for us but the noise from the pile driver was stunning.
Other than the construction noise we enjoyed the house, it is very well appointed and like new. The coffee cafe next door was super convenient.

I want to start by saying that the overall Airbnb was great. If that was the only criteria, it would be five stars. Super cute Airbnb. Everything was clean and well kept. The kitchen was great. However, I was so disappointed in the construction going on across the street. We stayed two nights and are leaving exhausted because we stayed up late for work events and at 7am both mornings pounding machines started up that made sleep impossible. This morning machinery started up on the street at 5am. They are building a giant structure right across the street and the construction is impossibly loud. While the Airbnb itself is so cute and it’s not the fault of the Airbnb that there’s construction going on, I think others really need to be aware of the lack of sleep they will likely get if staying here on a weekday. Bring a sound machine and ear plugs for the immediate future if you’re staying. Once that is done, it will be a great spot again.

This was such an amazing property! Unique and full of personality while also being luxurious, spotless, and conveniently located. Management was awesome and had great concierge perks. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.
