Great home in an incredible location

Great home in an incredible location!

This home is in a great location and safe neighborhood

This home is in a great location and safe neighborhood. It's on an extremely busy road which makes it hard to get in and out of the driveway. Two of the bedrooms are in the front where you can hear people walking down the street and the Sirens from the nearby Firehouse. I would say the biggest surprise was the size of the parking spot next to the house. We were also confused as to which side we were to park on. A full size SUV just fits with a lot of maneuvering. There should have been an instruction binder in the home showing locations of the thermostats which we had to hunt for, and other information about the house that would have been helpful. Since it's an old house there are really no USB ports.

Great location and starting point. Fairly quiet neighborhood and good access to all things Charleston.

Beautiful. A very interesting old home that just made you happy to walk into every room and sit on multiple balconies. So many interesting details! A total gem.

This was the perfect spot for our family of to spend the weekend in preparation for a beautiful wedding and also a family engagement. The location was walkable to everywhere we wanted to go and the bagel and coffee shop were only a block away for our mornings… The beds were comfortable, and our host was extremely responsive.

We enjoyed this place

We enjoyed this place. The home was charming, many wonderful bars and restaurants to walk to. Location was excellent! The living room has a wet bar because it is on the 2nd floor and serves as a direct entry to bedrooms. We found this to be convenient and cozy, but might not be as functional for other groups (particularly large groups). There are a few reasons it wasn’t a 5 star stay. The directions to use the keypad lock didn’t include what you had to press after the numbers or how to lock it. Luckily I’ve used enough so I was able to figure it out but it certainly spiked my anxiety. Coffee is really important to me. I asked twice before going what the coffee situation was. They told me it was drip pot, but it ended up being a Keurig. There were many walkable coffee shops but save money not being coffee/ cream to brew. Lastly, after check out I was asked to give them feedback privately, and they promised they would give me a 5 star review. This simply left a bad taste in my mout

Great stay, would definitely stay again!

Great location

Great location. Everything in downtown is walkable from there. The parking space on the driveway was a bit tight for our minivan, so larger cars may have hard times opening doors, etc.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as described and in an awesome location. Shops, cafes and restaurants nearby and easy access to all Charleston has to offer. The host was super responsive and friendly, the house was clean and well equipped.

We had a really good stay

We had a really good stay. This location is really great for getting around town. Do be warned, the parking space is tiny so if you have a large vehicle - do not recommend. The house is super cute inside and has the charm of old Charleston. There is a fire station right down the street and we were definitely woken up by the fire truck every night as well as just loud street traffic but that is expected when you stay on busier streets. It is something to note as both large bedrooms are on the street side of the house. The beds were really comfortable though and with earplugs and sound machines we did get some sleep. The little back porch and yard are nice. Really great restaurants in walking distance. We liked Pink Cactus for good Mexican and yummy margaritas, Xiao Bao Biscuit for casual yummy, creative Asian fare, and for a dressy dinner Bistronomy was really yummy- all right around the corner. We parked our second car in the garage close by on King St. And enjoyed shopping and walking
