overall, not a bad stay
overall, not a bad stay! Very cute little cabin feel with stocked kitchen utilities. It is a little hidden away and if there are visitors in the unit in front, it may be hard squeeze to actually walk through the alley to get to the place. YOURPAD was very communicative though after I voiced the concern. Very walkable neighborhood, of course street noise but not deafening or annoying. I was woken up around 1am one night from a ringing going off from the fridge, I was finally able to find the noise and turn it off. I hadn’t touched the fridge at all so know it couldn’t have been from an open door so not sure why it rung so late at night. But I messaged YOURPAD and they answered super fast even past midnight. The second night stay I heard constant scurrying and scratching either on the roof or inside it. So not sure if there is some sort of animal living in the attic that may need to be checked out. Other than that, smooth check out and parking in the garage 5 minutes walk away was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to Charleston and staying with YOURPAD. King St is a short and easy walk from YOURPAD, with plenty of options for drinks, food, and nightlife. The house is just as described, and being that it is pushed back behind a larger house, you feel like you are located in the woods or somewhere secluded. It's truly very peaceful. My favorite part was that they had a specific washcloth that was black and embroidered "makeup", I always hate using white washcloths when washing my face after a night out! As other reviews stated, there is a tight walk up the driveway if someone is parked there., The only downfall is parking; the parking garage is a very short walk away, but if you plan on parking in the afternoon and going out driving the next AM, you will be charged an insane amount. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back!

YOURPAD hosts are the best we’ve had by far
YOURPAD hosts are the best we’ve had by far. Our unit had some unexpected issues but they went above and beyond resolving them for us and making accommodations for us as well! For those planning on staying multiple days, please be aware of payed parking as it is $24 a day ($4 an hour) as of writing this review. Additionally, if you plan on staying on a Sunday, there is a church parking lot right behind the unit which was very busy Sunday morning and can be heard from inside the unit.
