This was perfect for our family of three when wanting something different than a hotel
This was perfect for our family of three when wanting something different than a hotel. Great location. Easy walk to the beach. My daughter loved Pinky’s on the Beach, and my favorite is always Lost Dog Cafe. A great little getaway.

Only parking is on the street in front of a garage
Only parking is on the street in front of a garage. Can only have one smaller car to fit in the area. You have to go through a gate on the right then walk up the stairs past the owners actual home, go up some other stairs into a screened in porch and get it. The lock to the porch doesn’t work, mold inside the rental space, has cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen. To pay $700 for two nights is thievery, would have left if it wasn’t non refundable.

This cozy, over-all well kept 2 bedroom one bath unit was enough space for the two of us to be comfortable
This cozy, over-all well kept 2 bedroom one bath unit was enough space for the two of us to be comfortable. The landscaping between the unit's screened-in porch (our favorite part) and the main house is lovely. The street is not busy in the offseason, so the lack of sound insulation from street noise wasn't a pro; the white noise sound soother app on the phone helps. You do hear conversation from people on the main house's porch. I suggest bringing a power strip for charging devices as there are very few outlets. A good value for the off-season price and the location is great for exploring Folly Beach without being too close to the hubbub of Center St.

Loved our stay here. Everything was clean and house was exactly how it is described. Ran into one of the owners, super nice guy. Had a great time!
This is a wonderful cottage above a garage
This is a wonderful cottage above a garage. The furnishing are new and modern. The screen porch provides extra space for dining and yoga. The king bed was comfy if a bit soft for our style. Kitchen has all one needs. Also we loved the beach cruiser bikes for our ride to the lighthouse!
