Great place and location

Great place and location!

Comfortable beds

Comfortable beds! Place within walking distance to all of downtown. We walked several miles per day 😃 Front, street facing bedroom quite noisy, so put the heaviest sleeper in the group in it.

Jade was amazing

Kayla Cumpelik
Jade was amazing. My travels were so hectic and she was so willing to let us drop our bags off previous to check in and was extremely flexible with my check in circumstances. The room/house was spotless on arrival as well, which surprised us since we were early! The cleaning crew was obviously fantastic and efficient which does not go noticed so props to them as well. Jade checked in frequently ensuring my friends and I were satisfied. Location is great and the house itself was adorable. No notes. 10/10

I wish previous reviews were more honest about this home to aid in my selection of a place in Charleston

I wish previous reviews were more honest about this home to aid in my selection of a place in Charleston. I will aim to be fair but I want future prospective guests to have all the information. Pros: Comfy beds and linens. Decent location around restaurants and walkable to King street. Two parking spaces which is hard to find. One of the few places with three bedrooms. Cons: Place needs updating and a lot of fixes. Porch and stairs to the second floor are slanted and feel unstable. Difficult for our toddler to manage and to carry a car seat with a baby. Kitchen minimally stocked and some things didn’t work. There were random additional exterior doors that did not feel very secure - one wouldn’t even close all the way. HVAC was poorly designed which caused a freezing living room/hall and 80 degree bedrooms. This was somewhat remedied by keeping all the doors open. That might be fine for your group but was tricky when we put kids to sleep at 6:30.

Absolute steal for the price we got this for

Absolute steal for the price we got this for! Beautiful place with comfortable beds and a cozy environment. Linens/pillows are top notch, got some solid sleep here. Place has the vibe of a top-notch refurbished 1800's home, which fits the Charleston vibes perfectly. About a 15-20 minute walk from King Street and all the bars/food. Parking space is large and accommodated us well. Will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in Charleston with a group. Special shout out to host Jade for quick responses and clear instructions!

Much like the photos

Francesca Mollo
Much like the photos. The only downside was the floor was quite dirty and we had a toddler crawling on the floors. Jade offered to have the cleaners come back and redo the floors, but we opted to not take her up on it due to working from home. Overall a good stay in a nice neighborhood.

Jade is a great host, very communicative and accommodating

Kirsten LoBrutto
Jade is a great host, very communicative and accommodating. While the rental is quaint it’s a bit less maintained than the pictures portray, which I’m sure is a common occurrence with historic structures that old. It’s in a very nice location, though not really walkable to King or Market Street (Uber is fairly inexpensive luckily). Close to excellent local restaurants (walkable)! The kitchen was very dirty unfortunately, but that’s easily fixable.

We chose this location so that we could be close to our cadet at The Citadel

We chose this location so that we could be close to our cadet at The Citadel. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was very helpful and proactive! We appreciated all the information!
