We stayed over Christmas, and the home was close to immaculate—housekeeping really is excellent. The location is great too: about a mile from the boardwalk with amazing restaurants.
Our main issues were the beds and the living space. The living room is very small, and we couldn’t comfortably watch TV as a family—only one chair actually faces the screen. The mattresses were also rough. We ended up buying foam pads from Walmart after we arrived, but they didn’t help much.
I understand the need to protect mattresses, but the plastic covers made sleeping uncomfortable (hot and sweaty). A better solution would be a quality, washable mattress pad on top.
Overall, this place is best for adults who don’t plan to spend much time hanging out inside. That said, we did appreciate that pets are allowed, and the yard is a really nice size.
Overall nice place
Overall nice place. 4 miles from Sullivan's island beaches. It is small but kept up well and everything worked. We stayed as two families of 4 and there were enough beds (4) but only one shower and that was tough at times. We wished there could be more dining room chairs to sit together at meals. And it would be helpful to have an instruction manual to help figure out the TVs and remotes, how to access live TV etc. it took several reasonably smart adults an embarrassingly long time to manage watch a football game! Overall this is a solid choice if staying in Mt Pleasant.

We came down for the Italian film festival and some good eating and this home was the perfect perch! Comfortable, clean, uncluttered, beautiful area. The seven of us instantly felt right at home. We spent most of our time in Charleston (an easy 15 minute drive) and one glorious morning on Sullivans Island (also only 10-15 minutes away) - we strolled on the beach, ate delicious sandwiches, and enjoyed some to die for gelato.
Beyond an A+ home, the Yourpad Team went above and beyond for us, they also get an A+. One of our guests accidentally threw our dirty laundry in the trash (we stupidly put it in a trash bag, duh) and the Yourpad team retrieved it from the trash can and mailed it to us within a few days. And they did so with such kindness. Truly unbelievable service.

Great location blocks away from post house inn and brown fox coffee! The house was very clean, perfect amount of space for two adults and three small children, and our large suv fit in the driveway with room to spare!

We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and comfortable with all the amenities of home. The host was very friendly and a great communicator. When we come back to Charleston we will definitely be rebooking

Perfect for our weekend away! Comfortably slept our whole group, didn’t feel like we were too crowded. The host was very responsive to my inquiries and was helpful. Walking distance to some adorable restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!
