Went on a friends’ trip recently and enjoyed our stay here! The place inside was wonderful and just as described - very comfortable beds & bedding, loved having our own en-suite bathrooms, plenty of space to relax. Proximity to King St. was great, just 2 things that took us by surprise: 1) the restaurant downstairs is completely abandoned and actually quite dark and intimidating in appearance (note it appears to have reopened 2 blocks over in a new location). This was not what we expected based on previous reviews and the mention of the restaurant being downstairs. We experienced one night a person slumped in the stoop, with how dark it is in the area (no street lights there) made us feel very unsafe. 2) Multiple times when we showered we had freezing cold water. This was surprising given this was when just 1 was showering at a time. Other than these fairly minor points, accommodations and host were great!

Nice place, great spot, close to King St, very clean. 4 big bedrooms each w private baths w 1/2 bath off the living area. Lots of room if you have a big group. Full flight of enclosed stairs to enter apt. The apt is located above a restaurant and next to a fried food place. The living area catches an odor at night of fried food. We had only 2 of us staying there and we ran out of hot water very quickly. Reached out to management to get some help and although they responded quickly, we did not have enough hot water for both of us to shower. With a 10 am checkout, we were rushed waiting for the water to heat up again and ran out of time so one of us showered elsewhere. Apparently there is only 1 hot water tank for the unit and we were told to run the hot water in the sink to help get hot water to the showers a little quicker. With that, there was little hot water left. I would say a great spot except for the water issue. Would have shower strategically if it was fully occupied.
