We had a wonderful stay - great house in a great location

We had a wonderful stay - great house in a great location!

First of all, the communication of the host was A+

First of all, the communication of the host was A+. I am super picky and my family usually stays in high end hotels. When we came to the house there was a super tight parking space and when we opened the door it had an “old house smell”. This is probably typical of the historic Charleston homes. A few of the bathroom doors didn’t lock and there were minor cleaning issues. I told the host the morning of leaving and he apologized and said he would have addressed it if I had informed him earlier (I didn’t want to complain it was more an FYI to the host). Hopefully he addressed it and then you have a great stay! One last thing was construction Monday morning at 5:30am. It was not a huge tapping. It was heavy machinery and bright lights. Not the host fault and it was disclosed but it was annoying after a late night out. I would probably stay at a nice hotel but once again personal preference.

The house was very comfortable and met our needs

Sandra Remancus
The house was very comfortable and met our needs. What wasn't communicated until after our reservation was booked is that the house is in the middle (2 sides) of a huge midrise construction project. We drive a small VW sedan and could not open the car doors completely in the driveway because the construction fencing was that close to the house. If you are driving anything larger, good luck. Construction noises began at 7:20 am, including nail guns, reverse machinery beeping and booming pile driving. The construction site begins roughly 6 feet from the back and sides of the house, so ear plugs will not help. I wish this had been communicated in the house listing as it will have an impact on a stay in that location.

This place was great

This place was great. We booked last-minute (after our plans changed) and everything was easy… reserving it, checking in, using it, and checking out. We loved the decor/vibe, the off-street parking, the TVs and king beds in every bedroom. But we really loved how centrally located it was. Being close to Rt 17, we could get to my Pleasant, James Island, and the downtown shopping area easily. Thanks for a great stay!

Great spot for a trip with my friends

We absolutely loved our stay

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was spacious, clean, and so cute. The location was perfect, walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

I booked this Airbnb for my sister's bachelorette party for 11 people

Rachael Villanova
I booked this Airbnb for my sister's bachelorette party for 11 people. It was the perfect size for everyone. Everyone had a bed and each room had its own full bathroom. The host responded very quickly to all of my messages and were very helpful. Matt (concierge) was very helpful with delivering groceries to the house before we checked in, so we didn't have to worry about getting our own groceries. The only bad thing about this Airbnb is the construction surrounding the area. Construction started around 7 am each morning (Saturday around 8 am). It was noted in the listing before I booked so I was prepared! Other than that, the house was perfect for our party and everyone had an amazing time!
