We had a great stay here
We had a great stay here. The location was very convenient, the space was clean and comfortable, and everything was just as described. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Charleston.

The location was great! A few steps from King St and walkable to local restaurants and shopping.

The place was cute and had a lot of Charleston charm. Be prepared, the steps are steep and narrow going up to the unit. Picture barely hanging on on the wall. A lot of noise outside hard to sleep. But that’s what you get when you stay near King Street. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the pillows! Couch is different than what’s in the picture. I also wished they would have better quality TP and paper towels. Even though it in the description, the construction is an eyesore across the street. Overall, I would not stay here again. But the host was very good about communicating in a timely fashion.

Beautiful historic home! Comfortable beds, great location.
bathroom door is the barn door type that doesn't securely close, & is loud to open & close. Very, very thin walls & windows, which made what should be an excellent location due to being close to everything actually a bit problematic because the home is in the middle of two blocks being torn down & rebuilt all new, & the construction starts at 4am on the dot with dumpsters outside the king bedroom windows being picked up. then the port-a-pottys across the street cleaned at 5am on the dot, & then the actual construction work begins at 6am. plus, the corner bar a couple buildings down has some wild metal concerts on the weekends.
I am totally aware this is out of the hosts control, but because the ongoing construction is not a small or temporary project (literally the block is being rebuilt from the ground up), it should be reflected in the listing, communication, and better reflected in the price.
The Airbnb was very nice
The Airbnb was very nice, but we were very disappointed when we got there to see several construction sites going on. We were awakened every morning at 4:40 in the morning with beeps and pile drivers going on which was very disappointing. Also, the TVs were set to go no higher than 12 which we could not hear the TV because of the construction going on later than 5 o’clock

Home is located at a perfect spot to walk anywhere and everywhere on King Street. The host is incredibly quick to respond if you have any types of questions. Would absolutely recommend to anyone I know!
We enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean, host communicated very well. The location was easy access to the highway which was great since we had a concert to attend. I loved that we had a parking space allocated for this Airbnb! There is a lot of construction directly across the street so that was a little unexpected and the street can be super noisy at night so plan accordingly with a sound machine.

Great location! The Airbnb looks exactly like the pictures. A heads up that the insulation isn’t the best so you can hear everything at all hours. Other than that, it’s a great Airbnb.
