This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Our YOURPAD rental was lovely

Our YOURPAD rental was lovely. The location was GREAT! Ideal for walking to many of the great shops and eateries along Meeting and King. Very clean and nicely appointed. Kitchen was spotless and well appointed. Beds and pillows were comfy. Only one bathroom, but spacious for multiple guests. Ample fluffy white towels. There's a sweet side porch with 2 chairs, but the view is the side of the house next door!! All in all, it was a great stay and we'll definitely be back! Pay close attention to the parking instructions as the designated spot is not in the obvious parking lot surrounding the unit, but in a MUSC lot behind the house. The host gave us a separate address for parking, but we were a bit road weary, parked in the surrounding lot, went out to dinner and came home to find our vehicle missing. Our car was towed and taken to an impound lot by the airport. Picked it up the next morning for a mere $211 fee and an Uber fare. The error was clearly ours.

I stayed here for a few nights with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it! The place looks exactly like the pictures, so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and designed. Super clean and extremely comfortable beds. The main strip is a short Uber away.

We really enjoyed our stay here, and it looked just like the photos. The place was spotless when we arrived, and the beds were big and comfortable. It's in what feels like an up-and-coming (and safe-feeling) neighborhood with some cute and delicious places nearby--but about 30-40 minutes walk from the historic downtown, if that's important to you. And you might see if the upstairs flat is available, as there can be some noise from guests overhead. However, there are also white noise machines in each bedroom--a nice touch! I'd stay here again for sure if I returned to Charleston.

The furniture and design looks great in the photos but the place is not well kept. The tiles in the bathroom are brown and stained, the vents are all brown and covered in dust, there were bugs in the unit. You’re basically surrounded by a parking lot on one side and an alley way on the other side. It doesn’t feel very safe. I️ probably wouldn’t care too much if the price wasn’t more than a 4 star hotel but for the cost it was absolutely not acceptable. And the immediate area really kind of sucks. The host was quite responsive though. But there should have been an adjustment of fees given the cleanliness. I’m also so sick of having to take out the trash every time I️ stay at an Airbnb. What is the cleaning fee for? What am I️ missing?

This place is so cute! Wide plank flooring. Whimsical tile in the bathroom is cheerful. The beds were super comfy and the linens were amazing, super soft and plenty of pillows and blankets. Kitchen has everything and it is just like the pictures! I would stay here again and highly recommend it! Walkable restaurants and a cute coffee place, Bad Bunnies. Also free parking which is a big deal in a small city.
