Very responsive host

Andrew Carty
Very responsive host, great location close to all things Charleston (great bagel place across street); Busy street, so a little noisy at times mainly due to loud muscle cars and motorcycles. Cottage has everything you would need for a stay, cook your own meals, etc.; hot water pressure is bit low, due to the on-demand tankless hot water heater unit. But on the flip side, provides unlimited hot water. Free parking is a big plus being in the city like this.

Great little back house in amazing location

Great little back house in amazing location! The bikes were a total game changer, we only needed to uber to and from airport and walked/biked the rest of the trip. The bikes are stored a very short walk away, not at the house itself. (Easy to find, though!) Tons of restaurants, coffee spots and bars walking distance. The whole place was clean and it was nice having a fridge, microwave, etc. If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, I’d highly recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping. The street noise was QUITE LOUD from the bedroom. You can hear every car drive by and other nightlife (I’m sure it was louder for us since we stayed over a weekend). Obviously it’s not something the host can control, just something to consider preparing for :)

We enjoyed our stay at this little guest house

We enjoyed our stay at this little guest house. It is super clean, in an easy location, and has made efficient use of space. It is located a 5-10 minute walk from King/Calhoun and MUSC. It was perfect for me and my daughter. Bicycles and helmets were available for downtown exploration. Check in and checkout was super easy. Off street parking was provided just around the corner. There is a sweet coffee/breakfast shop literally across the street where you can get morning coffee and fresh bagels. The hosts could not have been more responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again .

We enjoyed our one night stay when visiting Charleston for the first time

We enjoyed our one night stay when visiting Charleston for the first time. The place was clean and comfortable for two adults. The parking at the Church behind the Airbnb was very convenient and easy to unload our belongings. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay just out of the downtown area but still have convenience to many attractions.

Amazing location, next to downtown but not in it which means it is quiet enough

Amazing location, next to downtown but not in it which means it is quiet enough. Very cozy for a couple or between friends! Definitely recommend as there are also lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby!

We absolutely loved our stay here

Debra Horner
We absolutely loved our stay here. We've often talked about want to build a "tiny house" and this place packs so many amenities into a small footprint, it was inspiring (and cute! and super comfortable!). We enjoyed having the charming living room/kitchen area to relax in separate from the bedroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed for dining in (microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc.) We even made a full-sized frozen pizza in the compact oven, and there was a pizza cutter in the silverware drawer! The bathroom was cozy but had plenty of room in the shower, the bedroom same, with a small space but plenty of lighting, charging stations at the bedsides, etc. There was some street noise, particularly on a Saturday night, but nothing you wouldn't hear anywhere else in downtown Charleston, and we felt like we had plenty of privacy. And speaking of the location, it was perfect. Just a few blocks off of the hustle and bustle of King Street! This is our new go-to place when in town!

This guesthouse is perfect for a Charleston getaway

This guesthouse is perfect for a Charleston getaway. Parking was a plus (around corner, but reserved)! Great “old Charleston” feel with cobblestone driveway and original fixtures from 1895. I loved the private feel to the stand-alone structure but convenient to walk or cycle the peninsula. The deadbolt was a challenge, hard turn while light is green, but easy once you knew how! Yourpad was responsive immediately when needed!!!

Great location and very responsive host

Great location and very responsive host!

GREAT location, VERY quaint

T R
GREAT location, VERY quaint. Had everything in the place needed, would be beneficial to have washer/dryer if staying extended time. They may provide more linens if requested, but we didn’t. Very responsive. Thin walls, right down street from active fire station but wasn’t a major issue, tradeoff for the great location. Access to bikes was fantastic, do need to walk a couple blocks to retrieve. Shower water pressure is not great, and I’m from low flow California. A bummer they charge $75 to check in early(1:30), after paid, offered complimentary at 3:00. Bed area is a little tight, but was comfortable. Would rent again, nice it is standalone structure.
