This is the perfect choice for visiting Charleston. We parked the car and didn’t use it again until it was time to leave! King street, the Market, the French quarter - all an easy walk. The apartment is so charming! The master bed/bath is large. The living area is comfortable, and the upstairs bedroom is perfect for extra guests or kids.

Saturday night the street noise was very loud from the 2nd floor bedroom all night long and hard to sleep

Great unit and location however, our stay coincided with roof repair and that was not made aware to us before booking. The cherry picker was outside the porch for 3 long days before Thanksgiving. Beep, beep, beep and smelling like diesel. The property manager managed to get us a one day transfer in a separate unit on the third day of the roofers work but the whole thing was not ideal. They also claimed they didn’t know roofing work was being done. Last time I checked, workmen for any project don’t just show up without notification and payment from the owner. The next occupants won’t have to manage this as we did but I gave this review a 4 because of the hassles we faced. It should not have been made available for rent without disclosure. Hospital helipad noises were made clear, and they were accurate. A cherry picker outside the porch and bedrooms for 3 days plus parking issues for the previous weekend and holiday weekend after were not made clear. Not cool. Otherwise a lovely rental.

Truly enjoyed our stay at the Cannon Street AirBNB. Robert was welcoming, responsive and permitted us so flexibility given a scheduled event conflicting with the check-in time. Accommodations were precisely as described And pictured, with very central location close to restaurants, sites, etc., and walkable to most of the key nearby Charleston destinations.
