Stayed here on our mini moon from the mountains and it was perfect
Stayed here on our mini moon from the mountains and it was perfect! Walking distance to the beach and we went after labor day so there were very few people on the beach! The space was cute, comfy and had everything we needed
We enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean, host communicated very well. The location was easy access to the highway which was great since we had a concert to attend. I loved that we had a parking space allocated for this Airbnb! There is a lot of construction directly across the street so that was a little unexpected and the street can be super noisy at night so plan accordingly with a sound machine.

House is convenient and in a well lit safe area. We were able to fit 3 cars in driveway and probably could have 4. Street parking right in front of house. There is another permanent unit upstairs and one space for them to the right but they are so nice and didn’t hear a peep from them. Backyard has a private area for sitting that was great! Please remember this is an older charleston house with a lot of character! Everything was very clean, plenty of extra linens and kitchen well equipped .Im very picky…when I say it’s very clean, updated and will stay again, that says a lot!! Wonderful stay!!!

This place was in a fabulous location as far as walking distance to King Street and other things to do! The host was very responsive and gave clear instructions for check in and check out. Several of our guests noted that the cleanliness of the place was not as they had wished (noting dirty and moldy air vents in their rooms). The kitchen was stocked with some VERY basic cooking materials. As noted in other reviews and in the description, getting in and out of the driveway is very difficult. This is standard for Charleston as we know, however, it truly is as tight of a driveway as described by others. The construction next door is completely out of the host’s hands, however, we underestimated just how loud the construction would be VERY early in the morning. The construction being done also causes the house to shake at times, waking up guests as well as the loud noises and talking. We felt safe during our stay, and in the area. Truly, it was perfect for what we needed it for!

The house was perfect—from the awesome ping pong table to the fabulous open design. Host was always responsive to any questions we might have. We loved the view from the back glassed in dining room , as well as the deck. So very hard to leave!!!

The good first: the location was excellent — very walkable to King Street, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. On-site parking was also a big plus. The home itself has a lot of character and is beautiful in many ways.
That said, for the price we paid (nearly $4,000 for just a couple of nights), there were several disappointments. The walls were noticeably dirty and badly in need of paint — the level of wear and tear was excessive for a rental in this price range. Honestly, I would be embarrassed to rent a home out in this condition. The check-in time of 4 PM also felt cumbersome, especially given the short length of stay. Lastly, the surrounding area was much noisier than expected, which made relaxing in the home more difficult.
Overall, while the property has potential and some great features, the upkeep and value for the cost just didn’t meet expectations.

My husband and I loved staying at the Fire Tower! The place was very clean and in a convenient location for walking! The host was also very responsive and helpful! We would definitely stay again!
